Waffle House — Restaurant in Vinings

My wife and I have been eating at waffle House our entire lives. We have been eating at the waffle House on Atlanta road for the past 22 years and every year the service, facility, and food quality have declined. Yesterday, March 11th 2023 was our last meal at that waffle House location. There were seven team members working behind the counter while there were four tables full of food dishes and trash with three families waiting to be seated. There seem to be two managers worried about managing the other five while no one took any responsibility to make sure that the tables were cleaned so people could sit and eat. Once we were seated, it took forever for our server to get our order and she seemed completely distracted by the teammates discussion while trying to take our order. There was such a backup with cleaning off the tables that the restaurant actually ran out of clean silverware and we had to use plastic utensils to eat our meal. All three of our orders for my wife myself and my daughter were prepared in error as we were all missing a piece of the order, cold food temperature or items missed completely. I asked for well done bacon and sausage which was served barely done. My wife asked for a breakfast bowl with no eggs ( she is allergic) and there were egg pieces as they clearly added them removed. My daughter ordered toast and we had to ask multiple times before she finally received. Once we received our bill to leave, it took almost 15 minutes to check out due to the lack of care or concern of the waffle House teammates to actually check out someone. I hope this feedback is helpful and you will act on it as I'm sure you've lost many many other customers from this location. It would surely be great if Joe Rogers were involved in waffle...

I dine often at the Waffle House located in front of the WellStar Urgent Care on Atlanta Road. However, the speed and attitude of the server today was pitiful and the floor manager - seemed not to care. I dined with my six year old and the order started well but ended horribly. We received drinks, then I received my waffle and it was room temperature, as if it has been sitting out too long, next after waiting another 10 minutes - here comes the bacon and at that point - I shared with the waitress that I preferred having my meal delivered together (not one piece at a time). Then we waited another 5-7 minutes for my daughter's Grit bowl - remembering that I had received my waffle at least 15-17 minutes earlier. Once my daughter's food came out - the waitress had forgotten about the eggs and cheese and when I advised her then she went back to get it. The waitress lacked a sense of speed when providing the order. I never received additional coffee nor water while waiting. All times are approximate - it may have been less but the receiving a piece order instead of all your food at once is absolutely ridiculous. Guess what - I love Waffle House and today's experience was the most recent bad experience. But the waitress needs training. And maybe the manager needs better organizational skills when Waffle House is full. Let's not let the service diminish just because all seats are taken. It was totally an...

It's a typical waffle house; but wasn't a typical visit. The cook had apparently gotten frustrated and walked out a few minutes before we got there. There were some young adults at a table, and some teens causing a scene at the register. The waiter gave a refund to the teens and sent them on their way. Then I heard him take orders from the other table and explain that he was sure the cook would be back briefly after he had a minute to clear his head. Then he came to us and said please be patient and what are you drinking. He brought our drinks, and took our food order and about 5 minutes went by before the young men at the other table started to cause a fuss. There were four of them getting loud screaming they weren't about to wait an hour for their food. The waiter said it wouldn't be an hour, probably 30 minutes, 45 minutes at the worst, then those guys decided they were just going to cook their own food, and got up stormed behind the counter and started throwing food on the grill. The waiter handled himself the best he could for being one person and just a young man himself and was calmly asking them to step out from behind the counter. Then the cook came back and finished cooking the food the guys had put on the grill. It was crazy but...
