California Burger — Restaurant in Conway

We were looking for something good to eat on a Sunday night, scrolling through doordash. They were all long wait times, so I said let's go towards conway to grab something to bring back to the house. As we were driving towards conway, my girlfriend said let's try California burger. It sounded like a solid plan, so we check the hours to see when they closed(10 pm on a sunday) and stopped by. There we're several spots to see the drive thru menu and decide what we wanted. They do carry daily specials here as well. They have everything you can think of. We decided on the bacon double cheeseburger combos for us both. They even accommodated the fact that I can't have the seeded bun. They answered any questions we had about the menu proficiently. My girlfriend got a strawberry pineapple milkshake, which I've never seen alot of people make. We got the grandbaby some chicken nuggets and fries. If you thought the food was going to come out just mediocre at 8pm at night, you'd be wrong. We had the drinks come out first and a short time later the food come out piping hot. My girlfriend had to put the food in the floor as it was too hot on her legs. We had a 15 minute drive home. After getting everybody in the house and getting settled in, we started to get the food out. Everything was still piping hot and so fresh. Upon getting out the chicken nuggets I had to get my papa tax to try one. The nuggets had me reminiscent of the Mc clown place of my youth. The crinkle cut fries are amazing and crisp like diner fries. I opened my burger tucked in the container with that delicious beef and bacon glistening like a lighthouse on shore. The taste was nothing short of heavenly. The bbq sauce they have for the nuggets had a wonderful smoky flavor. If you haven't tried this place yet, I suggest to drive, walk, fly, scooter, dog sled, or any transportation you can use to try this hidden gem. Your stomach...

Came through the drive through and ordered some items including a grilled chicken salad. The sign says salad comes with toast and a medium fries, I waited about 5 mins for my food then left the drive through and checked my bag. No toast and no fries. Came back through and double checked the sign and told the lady I was missing my items she said “nope!” And I said I’m looking at the sign, and read her the sign. She said it was a misprint and they were waiting for a new sign. they then made me pay $3+ and wait 10 more mins in the drive through for my fries while my salad wilted and my burger got cold. When I got to the front there was no apology, no offer to make it right, no concern for waisting 15 minutes of my time for some $3 fries. This whole interaction makes me feel like California burger had no concern for their customers time, money or loyalty as well as a lack of integrity, How hard would it be to cover that section of the sigh with red tape? Or to simply inform the customer upon ordering? You Instead choose to falsely advertise and let your customers order and pay for something that they are...

WOW!! What a great experience tonight at California Burger Conway! Staff was top notch! Very friendly, knowable and helpful. The food was over the top good! We had burgers and fries, added nacho cheese on the fries. The family sitting next to us was there for the first time as well. She had a Philly cheese steak and raved at how delicious it was. It was huge as well. She had to take half home. Another customer had a grilled chicken salad that look fabulous! The combos come with a huge order of fries that are hot! Guys, I am a fan! The prices are so reasonable. I hope they do well in Conway! We couldn’t help but have ice cream. The banana splits are a great size and delicious for $4.99!! They also have chocolate dip that was so good! They serve quality food, ice cream and beverages. The fountain drinks have a good mix, no bitter diet taste.
