First time there and felt rushed though we were the only customers at that moment. Felt obligated to tip with the way the lady held the slip i signed since it would be to eat in. I gave $3tip since it was over $30 but it wasn't deserved. Due to the dry service we changed our minds and took food to go. Ordered 3 subs not that great. My husbands was pastrami with veggies and it had some gristle. I ordered mine ham cheese and egg with veggies mayo and light mustard. The eggs tasted gross dry yolk old and rubbery ( odd because every other spanish spot like tainos or cafetal its fresh and a lil yoke always runs on that first bite) and it had no mayo and the mustard was barely there. I ordered for my son ham and cheese with veggies. His was supposed to be $6. They charged me $7. When I told them I was overcharged for his sub she claimed it was for the veggies but then why wasn't I charged extra for veggies on other 2 subs. I ordered 2 sodas and a "natural" orange juice. I thought it would be freshly squeezed in the machine they have especially since it cost$4.50 but nope she handed me a Styrofoam cup right out the fridge. Didn't taste Natural or fresh probably made days earlier and watered down. Terrible experience and...
Read moreHorrible experience! It was just one bad thing after another. First, we called and ordered ahead 2 breakfast sandwiches with egg, ham, cheese, bacon, and mayo on Pan Sobao’ bread. We were about 10mins away and were told they’d be ready when we arrive as that’s about how long it would take to cook. We arrived, paid for the order, and sat to wait as the order was not yet ready. About 10mins passed and we get called, we get the order and head home (it was to-go). We arrived home and there were no eggs, no mayo, and barely any bacon. The bread was also burned, as if they had over toasted it. My wife called and they said they found the eggs sitting in the warmer. We turned around and rather than remaking fresh sandwiches, they just opened them up, tossed the eggs in there and handed the sandwiches back. Needless to say, we’ll not be returning. On top of the horrible experience, they’re a bit overpriced. The 2 sandwiches cost a...
Read moreDisgusting, horrible and the worst possible service you should get in a restaurant. I was looking for a Puerto Rican bakery for some good bread with butter and great coffee. But I decided to go with a toasted ham and cheese sandwich and coffee... that’s where it got disgusting and the coffee was horrible. Then I went to the restroom to wash up and found where the racks of bread was next to the restroom and you could see how dirty this location is. Never again. Also the two lady’s behind the counter had a nasty attitude and seemed that she really didn’t want...
