PattiCakes Bakery — Restaurant in Conway

I was wanting to order a cake just needed some clarification before doing so; therefore I visited the shop in person at the Robinson Street shop. The young lady was knowledgeable and pleasant when she advised me that they no longer do custom cakes and that they have the cakes they offer online. I was ok with ordering a cake that wasn't decorated because I had planned on decorating the cake myself if they couldn't; however the young lady to my surprise didn't seem interested in taking my order instead she advised me to go to their website to order what I wanted. I gave my experience a one star because not everyone has access to the internet and not everyone knows how to navigate the internet. I also came from 25 miles away get clarification and to order in person; however the young lady never once offered to take any type of an order. I left the store surprised with the lack of sales ready attitude I expected. I ended up ordering a cake from Julie's Sweet Cakes after visiting a few other places and I will say that the other shops offered to take my order despite not offering exactly what I was...

This picture does NOT do the cake justice, but it's all I have right now. It was absolutely beautiful. I wanted a plain, 3-tier cake with naked icing. That, in itself, looked great in its simplicity. The flowers are what made it look absolutely perfect to me. I got flowers from Conway's Classic Touch, a local florist in Conway. I took them with me when I picked up the cake, and 15 minutes later, the cake came out looking like this. I was in LOVE with it. That is super dramatic, I know... but it was one of my favorite parts of the wedding.

Lastly, the most important part - it TASTED amazing. Definitely worth the money! I highly recommend using...

Patticakes did a beautiful job on our wedding cake. They delivered it to our venue at Petit Jean State Park and decorated it with the ivy and dragonfly pin I left on the table for them. The best part is that we did our best to save the top layer without thinking ahead to ask for a box or bring a container and had to make do with takeout containers from the lodge restaurant. When I returned the cake stand to Patticakes, I took the top layer in to them and they re-iced it and packed it up in a box for us to save for our first anniversary - at no additional charge.
