Don Pepe’s Gourmet Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in Conway

We decided to try it the 1st time on our 40th anniversary for a early dinner around 4:00pm. Food was excellent, people were nice . That's where the good stops. There was a big table( by the front windows) of about 8 people in the lobby the rest were empty. 10 Employees just Standing around . There was food on the floors . We we had to ask for a table to be cleaned . The drink station had stuff all over it . The 4 trash can station had food all over the tops of it all the cans mostly full . The front bathroom had stuff on the floor . The TOILET SEAT HAD A BIG CRACK ON 1SIDE OF IT .NOT EXPECTING THAT IN A BRAND NEW RESTRUANTS & the trash can sat next to the Toilet . The sink counter had water all over the top of it . For that many Employees to be there the Restaurant should have been spotless. There were also flys all over the place cause they had the side door propped open for a extension cord to be taken outside for the Drive thru. They need a Outside Plug in for that . The Restaurant has only been open a couple of months , this isn't a good...

The food is good and on some occasions great! Normally the service is usually top tier but my most recent visit was less than satisfying due to ordering curbside pick-up and sitting for an extended period of time upon my arrival at the time my email said my food would be ready. Problem is no one answered when I called and I saw them ignoring curbside calls. I understand that sometimes ya short handed and you're really busy. But customer service should never suffer because of variable like that. A simple informing me when I called would've prevented my food from being cold. i would've understood. Everyone has bad days and this was one for them because other curbside call ins felt the same way. This hiccup won't deter me permanently from getting fold there but it'll definitely make me take a break from it. I hope you go and give it go and get the experience from top to bottom that...

My son told me this restaurant was Chipotle but actually tastes good. I was skeptical of yet another overpriced texmex bowl place.

We got in right before the lunch crowd got three bowls that we're super loaded with toppings. The impressive part for me was getting Tamarind soda in the bottle instead of the mix. My wife got a bottled coke, son got a fountain drink.

The food was fresh and over the top delicious. Son hit it on the head saying it was better than Chipotle. Not budget friendly at $32 for the three of us but made up for it with chips and salsa as an included side instead of an extra.

We left right as the main lunch crowd came. Since it's located in a college town I can see how it would be busy when school is in session.

For sure will eat...
