See my first review below, i hope this was a bad night and not a fall. Tonight this place should be embarassed and i probably wont be back regardless. Placed order online. Immediately got a call verifying the order(great service right?) Every single item delivered was wrong. Sausage in a pasta ordered with no meat. Wings sauced completely wrong and chewy as goodyears finest.
And thats been the case of their chicken in past it seems for a while so i stopped adding it to my pasta and getting it plain as its listed 9n the menu. Somrhow a disgusting sausage was added to it tonight and was a first. Worst is it gets camouflaged with tortellini. I almost puked by surprise and short fear it may be shrimp as i am deathly allergic.
Also ordered hot garlic wings. No garlic no heat. Was buttery buffalo sauce of the mildest imaginable. Then biting in to yet more of goodyear ties finest.
I have loved this place for years on and off. But always accepted an off day as being typical happends everywhere.
The level of bad today isnt a one off. Its clear the lack of care or effort and that i dont need to return. A real shame for a dirty whole in the wall that used to actually serve good food. Now the picture fits the experience.

Been ordering from this place for years... i really want to give them 5 stars and im very close. Tonight was 10 stars. Usually its always been a struggle placing an order with whoever was on the phone. Tonight the guy seemed new but took control of the call like a bloody natural. I was annoyed a bit out of habit but when my order was repeated back to me with extra information about what to expect and up charges i was confident in what to expect with my order and that itd be receiving what i wanted. Quality improvement!
Food on arrival is always good and tasty but sometimes questionable on the temperature. Never so bad not edible but never not tasty. Wings have never disappointed. I see best wings in town all over the web these days and always wonder why this place isnt in the running? Always massive tons of meat cooked well great flavor and deliver well. Unlike soggy messes from everyone else! I absolutely have never had wings come close. Anywhere in town or even in many places out of town. Tonight was the exception the exception though amd why i am here. Tonight you guys out did yourselves. Best yet and best ive had anywhere! Proper job!
The caveat unfortunately is the time... with so much praise especially tonight. The delivery times are always disappointing. 20 minutes past an hour today. Oddly enough used to being quoted an hour and scarily hearing the door bell like clock work... got worried tonight as the clock kept ticking. Usually cheese fries kinda orders dont hold up very well in a hot bag through delivery. And im not used to wings doing so well either from any other place. But as ive said never had a problem with the wings and god was i impressed with the philly fries tonight! Id love to see delivery times improve but when the service and food is so on point at good temperature with excellent quantity and flavor its easy to forget that little extra time waiting.
Its a hole in the wall-dont let that fool ya!-but its always been reliable with its little issues. But always worth it.
And tonight you guys raised the bar thank you so much please keep up the great work and improvement!
Was originally a 4 star review(hence the first sentance)until i finished writing and convinced myself no fault for a star today(then maybe today absolutely not)but i also figured this is a new york style italian place and they had something called philly fries and they were damn excellent tonight. 58 years years worth of waiting kind of excellence so take your 5th star even if ya might be giants...

I’ve ordered take out from here on numerous occasions because it’s so close to my place and every now and then the chicken Marsala is really good, however I seem to have issues of some sort every time. The only consistencies are encountering at least two of the following: long wait times, incorrect or incomplete orders, pathetic portions, high prices, and a total lack of customer service.
Wait times have been as long as 30 minutes to an hour for take out (compared to 10-20 minutes elsewhere.)
The food is hit or miss in terms of quality but orders are almost always botched in some way or another, like getting my go-to chicken Marsala, fettuccine, and a side salad without the chicken Marsala. Or getting food that’s obviously old (or undercooked.) Or like last night the side salad which I requested without tomatoes (it comes with them as well as green peppers, cucumbers, and carrots) included two slices of of tomato and literally one slice of cucumber, one string of green pepper, and one 5”x2” carrot shaving and some very sad looking lettuce. Plus it was missing the extra dressing I was up-charged a dollar for.
Speaking of prices - everything is overpriced ($17 for chicken & pasta with salad rather than the more reasonable $13 it used to be) and they up-charge for pretty much everything. Want soup instead of salad? Add $2.50. Want croutons on that salad? $1.00. Want other veggies like onions or olives? +$1 each!
The icing on the cake is the customer service at this place, or the complete lack there of. It’s the one thing you can count on every time. Each employee I’ve dealt with has been rude, snarky, inconsiderate, disrespectful, and full of attitude. It’s like they just don’t care and you’re imposing on their time. When you call you’re almost sure to be put on hold for 5 minutes, minimum, before you can even say hello. Once you do get to speak to someone, make sure to have them repeat your order back because it’s almost a guarantee that they got it wrong because they’re more concerned about getting you off the phone than paying attention. Also don’t expect them to know their own menu! Prepare yourself for lots of attitude and condescension. (For example when you ask for Chicken Marsala with fettuccine and their response is “fettuccine?” (In a tone that implies that it’s an absurd request) so you reply - “yes the menu says it comes with your choice of pasta” so they read you the pasta options...which includes fettuccine.) Also double check the wait times. Once I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour for pick-up and as I was a few minutes away (just before an hour later) they started to blow up my phone from a different number, hanging up and calling multiple times in a row, hanging up when I answered on the second call, then on the third, asking (very rudely) when I was picking up my food “because it’s been sitting here for thirty minutes and you know you shouldn’t order if you’re not going to pick it up on time” and it’ll be my own fault if it’s cold and don’t expect them to replace it. When I said I was driving and only couple of minutes away and was told the wait was 45 to an hour (and it hadn’t been an hour) I basically was told that I was wrong and essentially called a liar. Of course once I got there, even though the place was empty, I still stood there for almost 5 minutes before they even said “can I help you?” because they were too busy chatting amongst themselves or playing on their cell phones. Lastly don’t expect an apology or any attempt to make things right outside of giving you the correct food once you point out any errors with your order or experience. This place doesn’t care about its customers, only turning a profit. Don’t waste your time or money, it’s not worth...

Honestly, I’m surprised it’s not lower. This place is a masterclass in how NOT to treat customers! The so called EXTREMELY RUDE “Owner” (WHO WEARS THAT TITLE LIKE IT’S A CROWN BUT ACTS LIKE A BULLY IN A DINER) thinks it’s perfectly fine to argue and throw attitude...over a TIP!!!
She acted (and even seemed like she was ready to throw down) like we were trying to rob the place, not just question a bogus charge/fee.
Gratuity is a THANK YOU for good service...you know, when the waiter is polite, attentive, and actually makes you feel welcome. It’s not some extortion fee you sneak onto a bill hoping nobody notices.
If you have to DEMAND a tip, it’s because you didn’t earn one! PERIOD!!!
The owner tried multiple times to BULLY and shove a “gratuity” onto our check even though there were only 4 paying adults. I told the waiter (who already had an attitude problem) to take it off because we were giving our own tip based on service and instead of just fixing it, here comes the “owner” marching over like she was ready for battle!
BULLYING customers into paying almost 20% for lousy service doesn’t make you right... it makes you desperate!
AND DON’T FALL FOR THEIR SWEET, SCRIPTED “APOLOGIES” YOU’LL SEE UNDER OTHER BAD REVIEWS!
It’s all fake PR spin. They know they’ve been exposed and are just scrambling to sweep up the mess they created. If they really cared, they’d change their behavior in the restaurant...not just play nice online!
The food? Totally forgettable. Not even worth the headache. You could get better service, better food, and better attitudes at a gas station hot dog stand! At least there, nobody’s demanding almost a 20% “gratitude tax” for handing you a hot dog!
BEWARE: They also try to hide behind the excuse that their system “automatically” charges EVERY customer this so called “gratuity fee.” Please. Save it. Who do they think they’re fooling? Software doesn’t just wake up one day and decide to scam people?! Someone had to set it up that way...and let’s be real, I’m pretty sure they were the ones who approved it during the initial setup. Slick way to try and dodge accountability!
