Locally grown and prepared food that will make you want more! The staff is a wonderful family that works hard to bring you wonderful, wholesome Thai (I believe) food, without all the additives you find in the chain restuarants! They have very selective hours, because when your THE BEST in town, you can open only when you need too! They are also only open seasonally, because they spend part of the year in their home country with their family❣ Lunch is usually 11-2 and dinner is Thursday & Friday from 4:30-7:00pm. (Last I checked, hours may vary) My favorite is the sweet n sour pork, or spicy chicken with mixed veggies and white rice, add an egg roll and at least 2 cream cheese ragoons! Im a light eater so that feeds me at least twice, and my whole family of 4 can get so full for around $30! Highly recommended lil gem of a restaurant located right in the heart of Tenessee...

This place is a Cookeville classic. It is run by a super nice family who always remember what I ordered last time i visited. The selection is small, but the portions are a good bang for the buck (no credit cards accepted). I really love the stewed chicken wings, which practically slide off the bone. The spicy entrees will light you up, if you're into that. The steamed vegetables are always fresh and tasty, and they make great egg rolls. I can't say enough good words about the owner and the good atmosphere of this place. I have eaten here a countless number of times, and have never had to wait more than a few minutes. Ocha's is one of my favorite restaurants in Cookeville. We go at least once every 2 weeks. They have a hot bar with rice, noodles, and 8 different choices of entrees. They also have cheese rangoon, eggrolls & wontons. You can get either bottled water, canned sodas or tea. I always get half rice, half noodles, sweet and sour pork, an egg roll, and 2 cheese rangoon. This is a family business and they make their food fresh every day. I'm allergic to MSG, so it's nice to be able to get delicious food that isn't going to make me sick.
