Cullens Ice Cream — Restaurant in Coon Rapids

The ice cream was amazing ! But my boyfriend had ordered a cookies and cream shake. After receiving his shake and returning back to our car , we realized the shake was so thick he couldn’t even drink it. So , I said no big deal I’ll just go have them fix it quick.

Well long story short I went back and unfortunately wasn’t treated with kindness what so ever. My shake did get remade by the blonde haired boy that looked at me like he hated me for his original mistakes? The other young girl working was busting her ass , I genuinely saw her serve close to 8 different people while he stood there. She gave great customer service while , he gave the worst. The ice cream was amazing , but he sucked the life and enjoyment out. I won’t be returning to this location because of it. Also , I’m just wondering if this place is just known for the workers sticking a straw with the paper still on it , in the shake before giving it? He did it twice in a row , and I had to ask him to give me a different straw.

I just left Collins ice cream off Hanson boulevard where I went with my wife and children, I ordered a single scoop with Play-Doh ice cream and three kids groups with mint chocolate strawberry and dark chocolate. I come here all the time so I'm very well aware of the delicious ice cream and great quantity you get for the amount you spend but today was absolutely disappointing there was an older gentleman and an older woman working today the older gentleman is the one who made my ice cream and I essentially paid $20 for four tiny scoops of ice cream that barely even filled the opening of the waffle cones. This was a far cry from the great service I normally receive when I come here which is one or two times a week. I certainly hope that this wasn't the manager or the owner because based off of this one service there's a good chance me and my family will never be...

Our favorite ice cream place...we take everyone there. Grandkids love it too! Very friendly, great music, good atmosphere. Pictures of customers enjoying their treats on the walls. Elvis pictures, novelty candies & pop of all different flavors. The Coon Rapids store added more ice cream this year. They have regular ice cream cones, sugar cones, & waffle cones that are made right there fresh in the store. You can get 1/2 scoops & regular scoops (always generous), cups of ice cream, sundaes, & malts. My very favorite flavor is the dark cherry with huge pieces of cherry. See you there!!!
