3 stars not because of the food or drink. 3 stars because I was here on Monday and the woman at the drive thru kept my card. This should be the FIRST thing any employee taking a transaction should never ever do. You are given a card you take payment and HAND IT RIGHT BACK. Thank goodness I was just the passenger so I had time to double-check and make sure she gave the card back. We got half way through the parking lot when I made my boyfriend pullover until I found the card. We were going shopping with our 5 month old after and needed the card. If I'd been driving by myself I wouldn't have thought to look for it. Anyway, not finding the card I walked back up to the store inside and stated my issue. They seemed confused so I again stated I had just come from the drive thru and the woman never gave my card back. The girl at the counter went to the register and couldn't find my card so they called to the window lady and asked if she had put it in the safe already. (so apparently this happens often to where they have guidelines to put them in the safe immediately) She said she hadn't and couldn't recall in 1 second what she'd done with my card then just happened to recall putting it in her pocket....HER POCKET. She took a customer's credit card and PUT IT IN HER POCKET. SERIOUSLY WTH. HER POCKET. That's what I am most upset about. Why her pocket? Why not by the register or in the safe like they say they do? Why did she put it in her pocket? She even had the gall to say I left it on the window sill. Are you serious? I was in a tiny car and couldn't see the sill without physically opening my door and getting out of the car. And who puts a card on the drive thru window sill?? That's just stupid. Yeah no. Never ever again will I allow this woman to even touch my card especially after trying to blame me for her not giving me my card back and trying to cover her a$$. I will wait for another employee to take the payment for my order. If they have rules with what to do with cards they never give back then why not follow them and put it in your pocket.    Read moreI have had mixed experiences at this Starbucks. I started going here for the convenience of the drive-thru on my way to work. The drive-thru is a bit awkwardly shaped, so it is difficult, especially in small SUV to pull right up to the window. Most of the time, a combination of me leaning out of the car and the barista leaning out the drive-thru window compensates for the difference. The barista I dealt with yesterday is very hot and cold. Sometimes you can tell she's busy, and she gets very cold and short. Other times when things are slower she is really nice. Yesterday was not one of her good days. She refused to lean out to compensate for the couple inches it would have taken me to reach my and my daughters drink. I'm not asking anyone to put themselves out, and if its uncomfortable for her to lean out the window that's understandable. But the attitude that I got with it wasn't necessary. I come to this Starbucks very frequently and even make a habit of paying for the car behind me order just to pass along some kindness. The last thing I need is a crappy attitude.
