Angelos Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Cooper City

DISAPPOINTED TODAY. Let me start by saying that Angelo’s in Cooper City absolutely has the best pizza and Italian food, anywhere around the Cooper City, Davie and Pembroke Pines area. We’ve tried them all and this place is the real deal. However today, Saturday 12/10, we made our second ever order from them but this time, we had it delivered. We used their online service on their website, NOT Uber, Doordash or anything like that…..THEIR online delivery. We ordered the Angelo’s Supreme. We got something else instead, looked like a Veggie pizza. We politely called them to let them know about the mix up and were surprised when we were told the only option was a credit or we had to pick up the correct pizza. Keep in mind we were charged a delivery fee AND tipped the driver, so I don’t feel it was unreasonable to expect the proper pizza be delivered to us, especially since the pizza that was delivered was not the pizza that was on our receipt. I decided to go pick up the correct pizza while dropping off the wrong one. When I got there, ZERO apologies from the staff, which I feel was in order for me having to drive there to fix their mistake, after paying the delivery fee and gratuity. But no, not one single word apologizing for the inconvenience. But that’s somewhat ok, I only live a mile away (which is why I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t deliver again, regardless of how busy they were). Their pizza and food IS amazing and the atmosphere is very nice. But I would advise to SKIP the delivery service and make sure you PICK UP your order instead so that you can CHECK IT. Because if there’s a mistake, even if it’s theirs, it will be your problem and it will be up...

Was at Memorial West Hospital. After a few days I came up with an idea because of the outstanding job And the hard-working nurses I thought it would be very nice to order pizza so I ordered over $80.00 try to give them the credit card and was told you pay for it when it arrived. So I get a phone call and the person spoke Spanish. So I was taken down to the front lobby there was no pizza so I called to find out where the person was. She was back in emergency so I was taken over to the emergency and the person was not there so I called the pizza place and was told she was at the front so we went back to the front The driver went back to the emergency room I said you got to be kidding so I got a call from a different person said she was coming back around the front so I was waiting and waiting I said now what happen was told she got lost this went on for over 40 minutes. I had enough what a way to run a business if they would took my credit card all the person had to do was delivered to the front. And someone would’ve taking it back up to the Fifth floor everyone was asking what happened to the pizza. How embarrassing the hard-working staff was looking forward to the pizza. I made sure every person know never ever order a pizza from this place. When I get home I will make sure everyone knows about this on my Block the experience I went through. Update 2ND REVIEW: Great food and service until I came across this employee twice. 🔴 2 stars to get owners attention. I was there August 15th, 2019. Ordered 4 cheese slices to go for me and friends whom have never had pizza here. I was embarrassed it was so bad unfortunately the worst I've ever had. Not a good first impression for my friends. I always went on Friday, this day was a Thursday and the man making the pizza was angry and rude. This man was intimidating, was talking to himself loud with foul language in Spanish and English. Even the nice girl at the register looked shocked and intimidated.

To the owner: this is the 2nd time I encounter this nasty man. Your food is normally delicious but he is ruining it. While my mother and I dined there recently she ordered lasagna I ordered chicken marsala which was the best I've ever had. But this man came over to our booth and started talking to us friendly at first talking about NY but then he started cursing f this and f him and f that. I was ignoring him but he wouldn't leave. Finally another employee handed him a note and after he read it, he walked away. Thank God. I'm assuming the note said to leave us alone. My mother and I were very uncomfortable. Get rid of this guy. Not only very rude and intimidating, but he sucks at making pizza.
