Bombay Curry Pizza — Restaurant in Coppell

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel others should know.

On August 1st, I ordered a half-and-half pizza (paneer + masala chicken) through the Slice app. When I went to pick it up, the staff handed me two full medium pizzas — one paneer and one chicken. I thought that was how their half-and-half worked and even recommended the place to my colleagues because the pizza tasted good that day.

Today, I ordered the exact same thing again through Slice, paying $23. This time, my friend went to pick it up and they only gave him one pizza. When he asked about the second, the staff insisted that a half-and-half order only comes as one pizza. When I called and explained that last time I had received two pizzas (and even suggested they check their CCTV to verify), the employee refused to talk to me, cut my call, and then stopped answering. He wouldn’t even give his name, and told me to deal with Slice support.

Slice support told me refunds or replacements depend on the store owner’s approval — but the store had already refused both. So basically, I paid the same price but got less food, received rude treatment, and was left with no resolution. On top of that, the pizza we got this time was stale and below average compared to my first order.

No customer deserves this kind of inconsistent service and rude attitude. If you want reliability, transparency, and basic respect, I recommend...

Tried Bombay Curry Pizza Hive recently and honestly, it was a really fun and tasty experience. We ordered the Butter Chicken Pizza and the Chicken Tandoori Masala Pizza — because how can you not when you see those on the menu?

The Chicken Tandoori Masala pizza stole the show. Super flavorful, bold spices, and just the right amount of heat. It really delivered on that Indian-Italian fusion promise. The Butter Chicken pizza was good too — rich and creamy like you’d expect — but we definitely found ourselves going back for more slices of the tandoori one.

Now, the only downside (and reason for 4 stars instead of 5) was the crust. It just didn’t match the flavor level of the toppings. It tasted kind of plain and gave off a pre-made vibe. Would’ve been amazing if they used fresh dough and maybe even leaned into the Indian twist by adding some naan-like flavor or herbs into the base — that would seriously take these pizzas to the next level.

That said, the overall vibe of the place was cool, service was solid, and the concept is super unique. If you’re into Indian flavors and love pizza, this place is definitely worth checking out. Just a few tweaks and it could easily be a...

I would even give 0 star if I could. I had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered the “1+1 half-and-half pizza” through their website. Every other time I’ve ordered the same, I received two pizzas — and even my friend got two pizzas when they ordered the same. But this time, they gave me only one pizza for the same price.

When I asked them to either make the second pizza or refund me, they kept passing me back and forth between the store and customer care. The manager told me to contact customer care, and customer care said the manager had to approve it. In the end, I got neither a refund nor the second pizza I paid for — about $23 wasted.

On top of that, when I called the store, the employee was very rude, refused to share his name, and didn’t try to help at all and he cut the call on my face and didn’t even response back when I called him again. The way both the store and customer care handled this felt unprofessional and dishonest.

Be careful when ordering online here — they don’t honor their offers properly, and if something goes wrong, don’t expect good customer service...
