First time coming to this place on a Saturday early afternoon. Was looking for a good local brunch spot that we haven't tried. Walking into the cafe, there is a sign on the door that says brunch until 2:40 pm. We walked in at 2:32 and were at the counter by 2:34, excited (and hungry) to order food. When the girl at the counter asked the cook in the back, she told her that they are no longer serving food even though it wasn't even 2:40 yet, so red flag #1: false advertising. They couldn't do anything because apparently it would be so much effort to put fruit in a bowl for their acai bowl or cook some eggs and put it on bread for their egg in hell sandwich, so red flag #2: laziness. To make matters worse, the cook or whoever that was didn't have the decency to come to the front and talk with us why they could not honor their sign, and left the poor girl at the front to handle it all, so red flag #3: lack of respect.
We had high hopes for this place, and if they had good business acumen, they would have actually made 3x the bill that we paid, because we were planning to order a lot. Safe to say, this is a one and done. Take your business to an establishment that honors what it states, and treats the customer right. I actually really love to support small mom and pop shops, so this review is rather...
Read moreAfter a five-mile hike, my sister and I decided to stop by Ecclesia Bakery & Brunch for some well-deserved brunch. The moment we walked in, we were struck by how charming the place was—the aesthetics were absolutely adorable, with cozy decor and a relaxed vibe that made it the perfect spot to unwind after our trek. The area itself felt peaceful, adding to the overall experience.
Grabbing a menu was super easy; we simply picked one up, took it back to our table to look over the options, and then went up to the counter to order. The staff was friendly and efficient, and it was great that they brought the food right to the table once it was ready. It made the process seamless and stress-free.
And the food—absolutely delicious! Everything tasted so fresh and clean, like it was thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients. It was the perfect balance of flavors, and every bite felt satisfying but light, leaving us energized rather than weighed down.
Overall, Ecclesia Bakery & Brunch is a gem. Between the cute atmosphere, relaxing surroundings, smooth ordering system, and the clean, delicious food, it was the perfect post-hike treat. We’ll...
Read moreThe Best Açaí Bowl in Dallas
This store has the best açaí bowl in Dallas! The taste is absolutely perfect—there’s nothing to complain about. If you love açaí bowls or have never tried one before, you should definitely come here!
The first time I ever had an açaí bowl was in Hawaii. It was delicious, but this place takes it to another level. The portion size is generous, and everything about the flavor is just perfect. You can also add protein or collagen as an extra. People of all ages, from kids to adults, love the açaí bowls here.
Also, the waffles here are the best! They have a wonderfully chewy texture and taste amazing.
Their matcha lemonade is different from other places—it’s more like a soda, which makes it super refreshing. It was a completely new experience for me! If you love matcha lemonade, you should definitely give it a try.
The croissants have a perfectly crispy,...
