To whom it may concern. On Tuesday, June 28th, around 7pm. I took my 3 young children to have dinner. After ordering. I was ready to pay with my debit card. The cashier (young man) told me they were only taking cash due to power being down due to an earlier storm. After I was informed about it politely by the nice cashier. All of a sudden, I hear another person (woman voice) in the background, "Didn't you see the sign I made myself and put it myself on the front door?" I apologize, and I said, 'No, I did not see the sign. But we'll be back. We're going to go get cash across the street from an ATM. " After coming back from getting cash with my 3 young children in tow. I approached the front counter. This time, though. It was only the rude woman taking my order. She asked me, "How many adults?" I said, "Myself and my 3 children. " She again asked, "How many adults?" And again, I said, "It's for me and my 3 kids. " She then got red on the face and told me, "You're not answering my question."How many adults?". At these points, I did a 360' and told the cashier, "It's obvious I'm the ONLY adult standing with my 3 children. I ask the cashier, "Why are you giving me an attitude?" She refused to answer my question. She then said, "I will refuse customer service. You need to leave NOW. " Afterward, I asked for a manager or someone in charge. She said, "I am the manager." So I asked for corporate office phone # to make a complaint. She got irritated and asked a fellow employee to ask me to leave. I said I would gladly leave if I just got her name to mention it to corporate. She again got more upset and told her fellow employee to tell me to leave or she would call the police. The employee seemed scared or intimated by her presence. But I was able to get him to give me her name (Leticia). At this point, she boiled over and called the police. I was satisfied by knowing her name and walked out. I called the corporate office and left a voice mail. I have not heard back from the corporate office. I want to point out the fact. That not once did I ever raise my voice or use any profanity during this interaction with Leticia. It does bother me that my kids questioned why she gave me an attitude and why we left without eating. (We ended up going to the Trinity Mills location to eat). My children LOVE Cici's Pizza. I had never had an issue here at the Coppell location. We would love to return to our local location in Coppell. But as long as Leticia is working there. We will NEVER bring our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Cici's. However I went in at 9pm with my family for the "May the 4th $4 dollar buffets" and they told me that it was only buy one get one buffet for $4. (Also you HAD to buy the drink) I just wanted water! Totaling $14 for 2 buffets (basically normal price).
The main problem here was that we had an uneven amount of people, so of course, I ended up getting left out. The only reason I came was for that deal, I explained to the manager. I wasn't hungry enough to spend $9. But he just looked behind me to the next people in line as to gesture that he doesn't care and other people are waiting. Which I understand I'm not trying to hold up your line of 2 people behind me.
I ended up just asking for a water cup and going to sit with my family when a lady comes up to me and says we are not seating anymore people on this side, and I'm like there's already people there (pointing to my family) she must have thought I was trying to argue and continued to say no you can't sit there past 9, and I was like no mam, that's my family they are saving my seat, and she just grunted and walked away yelling at the cashier to not let anymore people sit there.
The worst part about this whole ordeal was when my baby cousin came up to me and handed me a brownie because I wasn't eating, the manager rushed over and said NO SHARING! Which is annoying to us, because we try and teach her to share at home, I was not trying to eat a brownie man. Lol
All in all, I really wish my May the 4th could have ended on a better note, but needless to say... May the Fourth,...

I've been visiting my local Cicis fairly regularly for the past couple years (more than I normally would) because of the rewards app giving free loyalty coupons. I got a Loyalty Reward stating I get a 1-topping pizza for free. I called the store, told the clerk on the phone I was redeeming this reward, and wanted a plain alfredo pizza.
When I arrived to collect the pizza the clerk told me I had to pay for the pizza, because alfredo isn't a topping "it is a specialty pizza". It is the exact same pizza that is in their buffet line, which the loyalty reward can also be used for, but I'm not doing the buffet due to COVID.
I've never had this problem (I've always redeemed for alfredo pizzas in the past) and will delete my rewards account and no longer visit Cicis since they refuse to honor their own rewards program.
Update *
Someone from management called to explain that the clerk was correct in refusing to accommodate my order. They cited their point of sale system as being inflexible and requiring they charge me extra.
That's fine, but if there is a restriction on a coupon it should be listed on the coupon, not just mentioned when picking up an order. I'll happily pay full price at a different restaurant to avoid false advertising, you'll notice the coupon below has no restrictions at all, so this rule is hidden from customers for the purpose of getting extra cash out of them when they come to pick-up their...
