So I've been meaning to try Cava for awhile now, and today I finally did!! While the food was good, the customer service at this location was PHENOMENAL!! Seeing as it was my first time, I had a few questions and the two ladies helping me were SO kind, patient, and helpful!! They made the BEST suggestions and went out of their way to make sure that I had a great experience!! I had a lot going on and now that I'm thinking about it, I don't remember what their names were, which is unfortunate, because they absolutely deserve to be recognized!! They truly went above and beyond for me, and after the day I had, it truly meant so much. I am so grateful for their kindness. Anyway - ON TO THE FOOD!! I had a greens and grains bowl with the Superfood greens and the Saffron Basmati Rice. For my protein I got the Honey Harissa Chicken. For my toppings I did the pita crisps, tomato and cucumber, pickled onions, tomato and onion, fire roasted corn, and Persian cucumbers. I got a variety of sauces, and I got them all on the side, (just in case I didn't like any of them). SO glad that I did that! There were a few I wasn't a fan of, but the ones that I liked and ended up putting in my bowl were the harissa spread, skhug, garlic dressing, and the hot harissa vinaigrette!! As someone who likes at least a little bit of spice, I think I had the perfect combination of sauces for my preference, so FYI - if you're like me, DO NOT SKIP the skhug, the harissa spread, and vinaigrette!! Then if you want, add some garlic dressing to balance it all out. SO GOOD!! There were SO many textures and flavor profiles going on in this bowl and somehow, it all worked together perfectly!! All the vegetables were super crisp and fresh, and the chicken was juicy and delightfully seasoned!! I figured the honey harissa chicken may be too sweet, but thankfully that wasn't the case. It had a touch of sweetness, but it was definitely more savory overall, so that was a nice surprise!! Oh and before I forget, I have to talk about the drinks!! I decided to put together a random concoction of the classic lemonade, cucumber mint lime, and the pineapple apple mint. Not quite sure what the ratios were, but I did mostly classic lemonade and a splash of the other two and somehow it turned out amazing!! It was light, super refreshing, and delicious!! So yeah - long story long, the customer service ALONE warranted 5 billion stars, but thankfully the food was fantastic as well!! DEFINITELY check this location out whenever you're in the area!!

I'll be completely honestly, I was absolutely upset when Zoe's went away. I saw this new place pop up and never did my research. Later, I found out CAVA bought out Zoe's. I've recently been to one of the Plano locations and Coppell. You could say I like this place. I went to CAVA 3 times in one week. This picture doesn't even do justice. The portions are great, very filling overall. The food overall is very good and high quality. Hunter was pleasant. We ordered 1/2 steak, 1/2 chicken for one bowl and 1/2 steak, 1/2 braised lamb for the other. The steak looked like it may have been sitting for a bit as it was no longer lunch time (~3PM). And instead of grabbing it, he called for fresh steak. Props to Hunter. He was very patient with us. My boyfriend is not a fan of Mediterranean food and this was his response: "for my least favorite food and speaking objectively, I would give them an 8." The location is great. The restaurant is very clean and well stocked. Staff is nice/pleasant. Food is amazing. 10/10 recommend! The pita chips are also a must Depending on your preferences for meat and avocado, it can be a little pricey but it's worth it and on par with other similar styled restaurants. We spent $31 for our two bowls (steak, braised lamb, and avocado are all extra) and 2 small drinks.

This place is outrageous!! Proof below, how is it a $10 bowl become $20?? I get the up charge and am willing to pay for it. How do you charge me $10 extra when u barely gave me a 1/2 a scoop? When ask, a manager rudely said we inform you of the up charge! Yes, I except but an up charge is $2-$4. Why $10? She had no explanation and didn’t offer any solution. When ask, well can I sun it out for a chicken $10 then, she said no and told me to email corp. I email them, no response other than a generic oh we will reply when we good and ready. I didn’t ask for a full refunds, I ask for $5 over charge, oh and they didn’t give my kids juices for their meal either. The ticket is below, see it for yourself last item. So if lamb an up charge why not make a lamb bowl $15. Aye so common folks like me can order $10 for chicken and $15 for lamb. Poor business practice!! I’ve manage restaurants for 20 years and when there’s a problem a manager handle w a smile and assess the situation! This manage simply said I can’t help you! Then why are you running a store? Hire a monkey!! It can run the store for you! I expect a reply, as a business to even try to answer my question as simple as it is.

Very pissed, I tried this cava store and the service was shockingly slow and ditsy. The lady at the end was very slow, even the other worker noticed and had to finish my order for her. I ordered 2 kids bowl, I asked the lady at the end for sauce on the side and she was about to put it on my bowl. She asked me if the 2nd kids bowl is mine too and I replied yes, but it’s like I’m talking to a wall because she completely forgets to add the 2nd order to the checkout. The kids come with free drinks, but she charged me for the drinks for the kids bowl! And of course because she forgot to add my 2nd order, I only paid for 1 and paid extra for the free kids drinks. I had to pay again for the 2nd order and told her she charged me for the drink, she just walks away and disappears for 20 seconds without saying anything. After messing up she still didn’t pick up the pace and was just so slow. She brought someone else to fix the whole mess and took ages to get my refund for the drinks. That lady was incredibly slow, ditsy, wasn’t paying attention at all, she did apologize by just saying “I’m sorry”, but it felt like a lazy half sorry and more like, “I have to say sorry because costumer is always right, even though I’m to lazy about it and don’t care enough”. No compensation, service was slow as I was trying to home quickly to feed my toddler, otherwise I probably would have walked away and told the lady to forget it because of how slow she was, and take my money somewhere else. All this whilst holding my 7 month old baby, just standing there for ages. The lady next to me was getting frustrated too because the same worker gave her the wrong sauce. When I went in there was no costumers behind me, they took so long that the line was build by like 8 other costumers. Took around 15 minutes when it usually takes 5 minutes. It was ridiculous. Very disappointed with cava, if you are near this store never go there and take your money elsewhere, you won’t be satisfied with your food. They’re be slow and mess up your order, I don’t tend to complain about minimum wage workers because I know it can be very tough, but at least care enough about your job to not do it in slow motion and pay attention. I don’t know why the lady didn’t offer the 2nd kids for free as I kept waiting for the mess to be fixed and I already paid extra anyway for the drinks, so I didn’t have to stand and wait for the other worker to fix it and kept tapping my card to pay for the 2nd kids separately and tap it again for the refund of the drinks, whilst...

This particular Cava location by Trader Joe's provided poor service and atmosphere. While we've truly enjoyed Cava restaurants in Austin and Leander, we chose this Dallas location hoping for a delicious and healthy meal during our visit. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start.

The staff did not welcome us; they simply stared. When assisting my 9-year-old daughter, the female staff member was neither friendly nor helpful. She just stood there, acting as if my daughter should instinctively know exactly what to order. The male staff member who helped my husband and me was equally unfriendly, barely making eye contact. After our transaction, he simply walked away, leaving us to reach for our food by the register. I even had to ask for a tray, despite it typically being provided. We've been to several Cava locations and have always been given a tray when dining in.

The dining area was a mess, with barely any utensils or napkins. We had to request napkins, which seemed to prompt a staff member to finally realize the state of the place. Someone did come out to clean, but they missed all the trash on the floor.

It's hard to say if they were understaffed. When we walked in, there were no other customers, and the employees were chatting and hanging out. They didn't even acknowledge our presence. I'm quite sure those two staff members had ample time to refill stations and clean the area, or at the very least, provide friendly service.

Perhaps I'm spoiled by my excellent Cava location in Leander, but the food here wasn't great either. It seemed as though some of the prepped items, like the pickled red onions and grape tomatoes, weren't flavored correctly. Everything tasted bland and inconsistent.

Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. We visited this place July 27, 2025...
