A dead bug in your food is NASTY. I recently moved to Coppell and I’m trying new food places around my house and I love Thai food especially yellow curry and that’s what I decided to order. When I walked in it seemed like a old shack. It did not give a very plaeasent feel. I picked up my order and went home. The chicken spring rolls where mid. Then I mixed a little of the rice in the curry bowl it came in and it was pretty good. I then got one of my bowls and poured the rice in it and at the bottom of the rice box it came in was a squished dead ROACH ! I instantly threw up. That is so disgusting. I ate some of that rice . I just couldn’t believe it. I got in my car and drove back up there a took the food with me so they could see what I just spent $20 on. The guy was not being helpful at first. He asked for my number and said he would have someone call me to give me a refund. That’s unacceptable. He then asked if I wanted him to remake it . WHAT??? You clearly have roaches and yall are not paying attention to packing people food or how fresh is the rice if it’s just sitting in a box with a roach in it so no I do not want you to remake my food ! I want a refund. After going back and forth with this man he decided to give me my refund. I would not eat here . Please check your take out...
Read moreI got Thai food here for the first time since the reviews were so high and I was excited to try it out! But I was deeply disappointed. I got a to-go order and I ordered a pad see ew and a Thai tea. The Thai tea was probably the worst Thai tea I’ve ever had. I watched the cashier who took my order make my Thai tea. All she did was take regular unsweetened tea and pour evaporated milk into it and handed it to me. I should’ve said something but I thought it would be okay until I tasted it when I got home. It was not even orange or remotely sweet, I just threw it away. The pad see ew was not good. I ordered chicken with a level 3 spice and it was so bland. All you could taste was the spice. It did not have that savory/sweet taste that pad see ew is supposed to have, it just tasted like poorly seasoned spicy flat noodles. There were also way too many vegetables and not enough noodles or meat in my dish. I hope I was just an isolated incident because if they can’t even get a basic thai dish like pad see ew correct, I don’t know why this place has such...
Read moreFirst time having dinner at Chillicious Thai in Coppell tonight. Atmosphere is welcoming, servers are courteous and the food came out in perfect time.
I started off with the fresh spring rolls and chicken fried egg rolls. Both dishes were delicious and the sweet / spicy sauce that is served with them is flavorful.
For entree, I ordered the combination yellow curry. It’s not listed on the menu, but the kitchen can definitely make it for you. The curry was delightful, mixes well with the jasmine rice that’s served with the dish. I ordered the curry with. 3 out of 5 spice level. I didn’t really taste the spice in the food, but that could just be me. I like really spicy / hot food.
I tried their Thai Tea but unfortunately, it didn’t taste right. Tasted watery and a little sour. As a person who eats a thai and Vietnamese restaurants, I know how Thai Tea is supposed to taste and that wasn’t it.
Everything else was good and I recommend eating at Chillicious Thai for your...
