Tacos 19 — Restaurant in Coral Gables

This food truck was definitely the best one at the spot. It is a laid back casual place where they have outdoor seating, don’t expect anything fancy. But it’s these spots that have the best quality of food.

Lea, I’m not sure how to spell her name but she took our order and was our server. She was so kind and we were so grateful for the service she provided. Checked up on us several times and even put a fan for us as it was a little hot.

Now for the food. Definitely the best birria tacos I’ve ever had, and I’ve had plenty, cross several states. They were crunchy, plenty of meat inside and the Cozumel (the dipping sauce) was so rich. These were the BEST tacos I have ever had in my life — and I’m not exaggerating!!!! Every bite was pure heaven. The tacos were overflowing with flavor, the ingredients were fresh and top quality, and the love put into them was undeniable. I swear I felt like I was eating tacos straight off a street in Mexico, made by someone’s abuela with a secret family recipe. The owner clearly pours his heart into this place — and it shows. High price, zero flavor. Ordered tacos and quesidilla. Chicken was terrible, zero cilantro, onion, or anything on taco or quesidilla. Very bland food. Will not reccomend. Will not return.
