A Truly Perfect Brunch!

What an absolutely wonderful brunch experience we had today with my daughter! After a rough morning with her not feeling well, we were looking for a place that could be accommodating, and this restaurant truly delivered. They had grilled chicken on the menu, which was a lifesaver for her, and even better, she happily traded her potatoes for my delicious fried plantains (tostones) – and ate them all up! We also ordered a ginger lemon tea, which she absolutely loved and found so comforting.

My meal was simply phenomenal. I devoured the rest of those amazing tostones, along with the flavorful rice and a perfectly cooked skirt steak that was bursting with tons of peppers. Every aspect of the food was just fantastic – super flavorful, beautifully colorful, and perfectly hot. I put a order for pick up, when I got back to work I realized it wasn’t the food I order, I called back to let them know about the mistakes they did, and how can we fix it, they asked if I can go back so they can change my food, unfortunately I was at work already and I wasn’t able to, they told me that they have my name on the system and that I can go back the next day or 2 days after, BUT they also said I have to bring the order back that they mess up??? So I told them so that means I have to carry the food that I got wrong for 2 days so they can confirm that the order was wrong even tho I offer them to take a picture or video instead, they also mention that the owner or manager will call me back within 10-15 mins after the call and 45 mins went by and no call back, and when I called back they said the owner had left for the day and wasn’t be back until the next day, and still haven’t called back, I will never go back...

Wow! Absolutely amazing food here! My coworker brought me here for lunch while on business and I always ask him to take me here on every trip. I order the #66 bandeja paisa which consists of a thin, grilled, top round steak, Colombian sausage, chicharron (crispy pork belly), rice, beans, a fried egg, fried plantains, a slice of avocado, and arepa (corn cake). It's a lot of food, so either plan to take some home, or be in a coma for the rest of your workday. I chose the latter, but what a satisfying meal. Our waitress was very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they keep the a/c cold, which is important. Nobody wants to eat their food in a 78 degree terrarium...we Americans want it low 70's max.
