Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Coralville

Highly recommend staying away and going to the location in Iowa City. I ordered our usual order which includes 2 chicken bowls with guacamole, a kids quesadilla meal with beans, rice, queso and soda/chips, and a bag of chips. I was charged $10 more than usual at the Chipotle nearby. I looked at my receipt and noticed that I was charged for chips and guac when I only ordered chips, I was also charged $2.70 for guacamole on the chicken bowls when we are usually charged $.50, and I was charged $2.70 for a side of queso blanco, which I did not order. My daughter always gets beans, rice, and queso with her quesadilla meal and the queso is counted as one of the three slots allotted for the kids meal. The guy at the counter stated that they were not allowed to put queso in the slots because people were complaining it was leaking into the other areas and that they had to place it in a cup. I rolled with it. When I pointed all of this out to the girl at the register, an older woman who I assume is the manager popped up and was extremely aggressive not even listening to what I was saying. She started talking over me and telling me that they I was wrong about everything. She didn't even listen to me when I tried to explain that her staff chose to put the queso in a cup rather than placing it in the empty slot. She then tried to charge me more. I ordered delivery from here on a Friday during the height of the lunch rush. It was here a good five minutes before the estimated arrival. Although I'm not what you'd call a big Mexican fan, I was kinda stuck in a spot where I needed to order something delivered. This popped up on my Google search for places that deliver nearby and I said "why not?". I am now, at least, a Chipotle fan and let me tell you why.

1. The burrito was huge, it was like two pigs fighting in a thin gunny sack. The tortilla barely able to contain the delicious maelstrom happening inside of it.
2. The beef barbacoa was legit. It was shredded as it should be, and you could taste it in every single bite.
3. I ordered the red tomatillo hot salsa and they didn't try to bulshit me with what some Karen considers "hot". This stuff caused you to stop eating, for just a moment, and say to yourself in a low voice usually reserved for blues artists "yeah, baby that makes Daddy real happy"
4. lastly, and this may be the most important thing, the ratio of meat, beans, rice, guac, salsa and sour cream was spot on. They didn't cheapen it with lots of beans and rice but used the perfect amount everything so the flavor and textures were blended perfectly.

I was so excited about the opening of the new Chipotle in North Liberty Iowa, and today I decided to go, and I am so disappointed, the place was not very busy and the tables were dirty, I ordered a burrito, I thought they would make the tortilla with the machine, but no, They made me the burrito with a bag tortilla, how fresh can that be, then I ordered my burrito with half steak and half chicken al pastor, and yes they did it but they charged me 4 dollars extra for the chicken and that's why I said half and half , then I ordered other toppings, I asked for cheese outside and a small drink, and the total was more than 20 dollars, I left it like that and sat down to eat, and I was even more disappointed, the meats were so big, the pieces were raw and even disgusting I felt, and also when I started to eat it, everything came out of the burrito, they can't even wrap a burrito omg, it was the ugliest experience of my life, I think they should open a new place until when they are ready or better not open anything, never in my life I would go to...
