Segneri's — Restaurant in Coraopolis

I want to keep this review short and to the point. Segneri's came up on my Google search for Italian restaurants with great reviews so I was happy to give them a try - especially since they are a small business.

Food was decent (I enjoyed the meatball and stuffed shells, my husband didn't particularly like the penne arrabbiata) and our waitress was nice.

My main reason for giving 2 stars is the professionalism from the manager (possibly owner as well?). He walked around without a mask the whole time we were there, and when patrons he knew came in he decided to show a mocking video regarding masks. As stated, it showed a lack of professionalism and a disregard for the mandated rules regarding masks in public places.

This definitely set a different tone for us during our meal. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I wish that this instance occurred during personal time away from...

Had dinner here last night for the first time after hearing friends rave about it. We ordered: 1-The Linguine w white clam sauce (fresh, flavorful & the portion was enough for at least 3 meals!) 2-Stuffed Shells w Meat (they were heaped on the plate, covered with the perfect amount of sauce AND had an unexpected meatball in the middle of the plate!) 3-Penne Arribiata (spicy & delicious! Since it didn't come with any protein, that would be the only thing they'd add next time.) 4-Chicken Parm special (delicious & enough for 2 meals!) Segneri's is back, and better than ever! The new Portare Fuori (take-out) location on 5th Avenue has been serving top quality dishes for the last couple months.

Segneri's has been a Pittsburgh Red-Sauce staple since 1954. Serving Coraopolis Borough, neighboring residents, and countless celebrities over the years. After a small hiatus, the offerings seem to have been elevated, in quality, and taste better than I ever remember!

Every single item has been great! Thee Best Wedding Soup, by a mile! It's unmatched! Salads are somehow fresher, and more delicious than building one at home!?! The pasta ALWAYS has the perfect "tooth"!
