McDonald's — Restaurant in Cornelia

First off, I should say my food was fine - if a bit cold. I'll explain: I entered and saw self-service order screens in the cafe. There were a couple people in line, so I thought I'd give the machines a shot. It was easy to use, customize and pay for my order. The screen instructions told me to grab a table number placard and take a seat and that someone would deliver my food to my table shortly. I found a table, and displayed the number placard so it would be easily seen. Time passed. More time passed. Finally after 15 minutes of watching other new customers get served, and employees walking food out to drive-thru customers, watching 2 employees standing at the registers doing nothing, an employee cleaning the cafe, and someone I assume was a manager sitting at a table with another employee, I'd had enough and walked up to the counter and asked if they could expedite my food since I'd been waiting. The employee then pointed at a tray on the counter containing my food. I held up my table placard and asked if it was not supposed to be delivered to my table, and she informed me that they "were not offering that service today." I'm not sure how long my food had been sitting there, but no one bothered to find me, or call out an order number, or locate the poor sap sitting in plain view of the counter with a table number placard obviously waiting on his food. There was no signage anywhere saying that the table service was not being offered that day.

TLDR; Order at the counter and wait for the food like you've always done at McDonalds and you'll probably be fine, but don't expect much...

Went to McDonald's today. It was 1:06 in the afternoon. Lunch rush was over, so I thought. Nothing special on my order. Nugget happy meal with sweet tea and barbecue sauce, which I didn't get, nor the sliced apples. I wasn't going back after all that happened. And a cheese burger bundle with buffalo sauce for the nuggets. I paid and pulled to the food window. This is where everything starts to go bad. I know that there is a time to get customers moved from the window but every parking for the drive-thur was full and the boy at the window told me to park in an app parking spot. I had to go back around the building and then park. After about 20 minutes passed and cars that had parked after me were getting their meals, I yelled at the girl that was bringing out the meals. She said that she would be right back. After another 2 minutes she came and asked me about my meal and did I order it from the app. I told her the drive-thru told me to park here. I asked if my order was lost. Her reply, no I'm sure it's inside, then asked me for my recept. I was not happy. I told her after waiting 25 minutes that I didn't want COLD FOOD. She said that it would not be cold, that it would be remade. She came back after another 5 minutes with fresh food. I vented at her about the poor drive-thru service and getting rid of the timer. Customer service should come before fast drive-thru time. Someone and that drive-thru leader should be written up. The lady that took time to get my order and listen to my complaints needs to be complimented for her...

Every single time that we've gone to this McDonald's, they screw up our orders. Legitimately every time. I know people make mistakes, but we're talking 8 or 9 times now. The last time, my GF went through the drive-through. She ordered several things for the four of us, including a plain double quarter with cheese for me and a chicken sandwich for her. They gave her an extra burger, no chicken sandwich. She handed the bag back, telling them the issue. They gave it back a few moments later and she left. When she got home, my burger was goopy with mayo and they had given her an extra order of nuggets, rather than her chicken sandwich. On top of constantly messing up every single order, they have the slowest drive-through of any place I've ever gone. They are even slower than places that actually cook the food fresh-to-order. One of our failed attempts to eat here was after one of the kid's games. He wanted McDonald's, so I acquiesced. I ordered the same burger as above, and he got a happy meal with nuggets. We pulled aside to the waiting spot for TWENTY-SIX minutes. Did they have to send a driver to Gainesville for the chicken!?! Basically, avoid this McDonald's at all costs, unless you have plenty of time to waste and don't mind receiving totally random...
