Casa Taquito — Restaurant in Corona

I live for this restaurant. I love the food here. The food here is very decadent, delitious, exquisite, flavorful, great tasting, and yummy. I have ordered shrimp enchiladas, and crab enchiladas both of this dishes I would highly recommend they are really scrumptious. Everything on their menu is simply the best better then all the rest. The staff here goes above and beyond. The staff here are so caring, courteous, friendly, and nice. Unlike Miguel’s Junior, the staff here asks if you are ok. I really do appreciate that. I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered from this restaurant. They Also have a party room which is suitable for group. I had a wonderful time here on Tuesday June 17 with friends from church. We were in the party room. Thank you, I really enjoyed my shrimp enchiladas with rice and beans. I also love eating in the party room. Everything on the menu is so delicious. You absolutely can not get this high quality Mexican food anywhere else you absolutely must come here. All of the people who work at Casa Taquito are so nice, and sweet. I really highly recommend this restaurant. Berievement? Pulled pork, ribs, including Pecan Wood smoked Beef ribs, many pretty huge salads and interesting sides. What makes this ( site of a) chain restaurant notable is that the BBQ is not overly sweet or sticky; you can actually enjoy the meat. They also do lunch and Take-out. Service (in Corona) was really solicitous--one filet mignon was undercooked and they took it back and offered another cut, done to medium. The cheese cake--about a 6" round--was, everyone agreed, out-of-this-world rich and delicious, unlike other restaurant cheesecakes most know. We split one order three ways. (I think the one serving alone is 600 calories, but even two bites are worth it.) Also, the shredded onion (deep-fried) starter is really shredded thin--and heaped about 6" high--more than enough for four or six people. If you try to have only a half a cup, you won't be able to resist more. They don't do reservations, so on weekends expect up to an hour wait...

First Impressions: This establishment is clean with plenty of seating and the mural artwork compliments their theme. The employees are very welcoming and friendly and provide exellent service as one should expect.

A big screen T.V. is set up in another room that is viewable from their main dinning area. Catching a game or a fight on the right day will make your dinning experience more enjoyable. The food wasn't bad. The kids were satisfied with the menu. I tried their shrimp enchiladas diabla, which was a bit spicier then I expect. Although I've had better, it was still good. It is served with rice and beans and comes with your choice of soup or salad. Lets not forget the tortilla chips before the meal. The salsa is average but the chips tasted ok. Just kind of a "ehhh" quality of chip.

Overall, it's not a bad place to enjoy. I'd return and try something new. They accept most forms of payment and are closed on Sundays. The...
