TL;DR 😊 Good food (especially Mutton Biriyani, Beef Roast/Fry) and ambiance. Portions are small and slightly pricey. Didn't like the food coloring on Chicken 65, and the restaurant should upgrade from current plastic plates.

The ambiance is good, providing a comfortable and enjoyable setting for a meal. The service was efficient, though one practical note for improvement stood out: the current plastic plates should be upgraded to ceramic or better quality plating to match the dining experience and price point.

The stars of the menu were definitely the non-vegetarian offerings: The Mutton Dum Biriyani was really good, flavorful and well-spiced. Porotta and Beef Roast/Fry combination was also good and satisfying. The Mango Lassi was a refreshing and enjoyable drink. While the Chicken 65 was a tasty starter, I was disappointed that they added color to the dish. I prefer Chicken 65 to be prepared without artificial coloring.

The Chicken Cutlet was just okay, nothing special, and didn't stand out among the other strong dishes.

While the food was generally good, a significant drawback was the portion size. The portions were on the lower side, which made the overall experience feel a little pricey considering the small size. Increasing the portion sizes would greatly enhance the value proposition for customers.

Overall, RASAM serves good food with authentic, rich flavors, and the ambiance is a plus. If you are craving excellent Mutton Dum Biriyani and certain South Indian specialties, it's worth a visit.
