Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Corona

I am an avid visitor of this chilis location & many others, but I had a horrible experience today. I get chilis 1-3x a month, and this was one of those days I decided to pick it up. I normally dine in and fully regret doing take out. I order the usual 3 for me I get every time. Chicken bacon ranch quesadillas w/ dip trio (skillet queso, white queso, and salsa) & a coke for my brother. I got a smasher burger w/ chicken enchiladas soup & Diet Coke. I placed my order and it said it would be ready in 20-25 mins. I showed up 20 mins later & the lady in the to go area- was trying to not look my way to keep talking to her coworkers. When I asked for my order she seemed annoyed that I was talking to her. My food was handed to me immediately which surprised me that it was ready-- because they never sent me a message saying my food was ready. It wasn't just finished, it had been sitting there. I live like 5 ish minutes away and I noticed so much about the food. But key notes were that it was cold & sloppy. My burger was completely open so the lettuce and sauce was scattered everywhere-- I was left with a soggy and cold burger. Then I touch the trio sides and the containers were COLD too! I open it and see that the white queso is chunky and had a burnt cold over layer on the top from it being set for too long-- not smooth and thin like usual. The skillet queso was over cooked as it was curdled and had a grainy texture not smooth either. The salsa was okay. My brothers quesadilla was missing the ranch like if isnt in the items name. The other sides were there though- the pico was fine, but the sour cream was spoilt. The cream was separating as there was a ton of liquid & chunks. Overall, it wasn't the usual amazing experience I have with chilis-- we didnt eat two different queso's out of the dipping sauces which sucks because we paid extra just for those-- as we were scared that we would get sick from improper heating & tossed the sour cream too from cooling issues. This is the most difficult order of food I’ve had to receive.. I placed my order through doordash which everyone knows can be pricey once you calculate the delivery fee and tips.. my estimated delivery time for the food was 45-55 minutes. So the driver gets there around 5:30 mind you I placed my order around 4 going on 5.. 15 minutes later I ask what was taking so long bc he said he was STILL waiting on the food and I only ordered 1 item. So I call the store and spoke to the manager David after speaking to Chris and after waiting FOREVER just to get on the phone with him bc they had me on HOLD of course.. ugh anyway he tells me he gave the food away 30 min ago ! So I already knew my food was going to be cold.. so the delivery shows up 10 min later and no surprise here my FOOD WAS IN FACT COLD I ordered the chicken bacon avacado sliders with fries and the fries were so soggy. I confronted him and he told me he didn’t lie to me and that he even got there 10 min early.. so SOMEBODY WAS LYING because it didn’t add up and I doordash myself. So I had to call and get a refund from doordash and then DRIVE to get my COLD food remade from chili’s after waiting 2 hours now for my food. I get there I speak to David and he told me that the guy was waiting for another order after he picked mine up.. so now I know who’s story wasn’t right. I waited another 20 minutes and Chili’s finally gave me a fresh order after alll that. This was so exhausting! Moral of the story is you have to DO THINGS YOURSELF TO GET IT...

We ate here today for the first time in a few years. Latet lunch. We did the 3 for $10 deal. You get a drink, starter, and select entree. Our server was Megan and she was very good! Request her station if she’s in. We have the Rewards deal so we got Chips and Salsa for the table for free. (Unlimited refills) I love Chili’s chips. They were as good as I remember. Nice and thin. This time they weren’t warm, they usually are. I also love the taste of their salsa. Not too price but has a lot of taste.

My adult daughter and I selected the Original Chicken Tenders . I will say that I don’t usually get chicken tenders/strips but Chili’s are really good. They are battered and delicious! And you get a lot. At least 5 large pieces. We got the honey mustard dipping sauce and it was good. The chicken is moist and tender and the coating crispy. you get corn on the cob and fries with it but you can choose any 2 sides. I picked coleslaw and loaded mashed potatoes and my daughter picked fries and loaded mashed. The sides were all good. They serve it on a metal tray and if you get fries they are in a metal box. Very nice plating. My nephew got the kid’s pizza chocolate milk, and the mini lava cake for dessert. He shared the cake with us and it was warm and gooey, so good!

We all got soup. Chicken Enchilada-which is the best, and my sister got Baked Potato Soup. Also good. We filled up on the chips and salsa so we didn’t eat all our food. We took home a lot...
