Burger Beach HideAway — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

So first let me start off by saying that their customer service they provide there is outstanding. They greeted us and were very helpful with suggestions on what to order (as it is and will probably be our last time going). The music is great to listen to while we are talking and having a great time. The place is a "hole in the wall" kind of place, which I love. Those are the best places to visit. Very small inside but there is an outside you can sit and play some games. They even offered my service animal some water. Very awesome of them. The food was delicious! I got the M o A B (mother of all burgers) and I must say that burger was the bomb and for the price, can't beat it. Now when it comes to the drinks, they look very good but in my opinion they are not. I ordered the cotton candy margarita and it (frozen) and it tasted like water. No alcohol at all. I am a light weight and for 13 dollars (to me) it is not worth it. Tye cotton candy margarita had gummy bears, worms, marshmallows, those things that are like gummy thin sugar candy (Xtreams I think). I'd rather have more liquor instead of all that candy (oh with gummy bears inside the melted drink.

We were looking for a place with great drinks and food and only got one part. My friend ordered a strawberry margarita and she said the same thing that all she tasted was strawberry, no alcohol. For service I wish I could put a zero star. Now let me start this off by saying that it was our own fault for eating there. We read the reviews and still thought "maybe the service can not be THAT bad." We were wrong. First we got there and stood at the front for probably 7 minutes until finally we asked one of the few waitresses how long the wait was. That is when she told us we were supposed to seat ourselves..... how long were we supposed to stand there until they were gonna tell us? So we sat ourselves and the ONLY "clean" table in the whole restaurant. After sitting down we realized even our table was not clean. The paper towel roll on the table had food all over and the table itself was dirty. After 5 minutes of just sitting there the waitress came over to ask for our drink order and then disappeared.... the food came out pretty fast and it was honestly pretty good. (Expensive for what it was, but good.) Once we received our food we didn't see our waitress again until it was time to pay. We sat with our drinks empty for probably close to 20 minutes. Our first time there and the special was awsome although no one told us about the specials I happen to see another table eating frito pie and I asked do you have items that are not on the menu like the frito pie and then they said oh that’s our special , I was like oh ok what is your special ? And then the food was really good, great price positive vibes, it reminded me of the old good ole days where everything was less complicated and less negative, only suggestion is come check on the tables a little more because we sat and waited for another drink for what seemed quite a while, then another waitress came by and we asked her and then never received the water until like 20 minutes later but I highly recommend you to try it out.
