The food is very good and I love the variety of menu items especially compared to other Mexican restaurants and even their sister restaurants. We go quite frequently, probably 2-3 times weekly. Our only complaint so far is that everyone seems to be getting confused on what each item comes with & even the kitchen too. My favorite item on the menu is the #26, the Angus Fajita Salad! So so good! I love the spring mix it comes with or usually does. Sometimes they add chopped iceberg lettuce instead and it’s not worth it to get it when it’s made that way. Loses a lot of the value of the salad for me. Some people have said they use that lettuce when the other runs out, but we’ve also had it told to us the opposite way, so what is it really? We went yesterday, like many days, and my husband has gotten the Acapulco Special a couple of times before. The lady taking the order said it came with refried beans (this has happened before too), but then was given charro beans instead. She was also saying that it didn’t come with certain sides, yet the menu clearly states what it comes with and she said, “we’ll allow it this time.” How does that make sense to only “allow” something one time when the menu has it there listed? My only wish is that they would all have a restaurant meeting to go over the menu together and be on the same page as to what every item comes with so everyone is not confused or saying different things. If they don’t want something on the menu, then please change the menu. We really enjoy the food and these experiences just make us avoid it at times. Something I appreciate is they usually are very helpful with allergens!! This is hard for a lot of restaurants so I like that they really try.

The food was good. I always test a good Mexican restaurant by trying their Carne Guisada, cheese enchiladas, and their salsa. If they screw that up, then the rest of the food is usually not good. At this place, their Carne Guisada and cheese enchiladas were on point. They were flavorful and cooked just right. They used actual cheese not that fake Velveeta stuff most other Mexican restaurants in the area have switched to. The menudo was ok. It had a weird after taste to it that we didn't like. Their Carne Asada taco on flour was so greasy but so good!! Their tortillas seem homemade. And their beans and rice are delcious. They even serve you chips with two salsas and a bowl of refried beans to dip your chips in. The chips are great too. We would definitely come back here. The restaurant is big but each space is sectioned off so you don't feel overwhelmed by the noise. We love that. I would highly recommend this place. Their breakfast plates are so good as well. We tried their barbacoa plate with over easy eggs, refried beans, and potatoes. A must try for breakfast. And if you want a good lunch you can't go wrong with a #11 Tejas Plate, or some individual tacos like Carne Asada or Guisada. Their habanero salsa is super spicy and flavorful to give any of your meals a good spicy kick. Its great for meeting clients since its quieter than other restaurants. And you can have a decent conversation. Or for a night out with friends and family for drinks and good food.

My wife and I were a bit disappointed because we love the other Acapulco. While I loved how spacious the parking lot was and the design of the building, the seating on the inside was cramped, at least at the booths by the bar where we were seated. We felt very near to our neighbors. Three chips and salsa were great, but the queso, which our server called "cheese dip" was exactly that, not much flavor. My wife had the flautas plate which she said was greasy and I had the gordita, which was decent, but the masa was undercooked and the flavor was a little off. The guacamole and rice were excellent. Fortunately, the menu is huge so there are menu options to try. Maybe we picked poorly this afternoon. My wife was unimpressed with the service, but I thought it was fine. I'm hopeful that these are growing pains for the new location and I will keep returning to try different menu items. It's affordable and very near my neighborhood.

I understand that they just opened. But I would never eat here again. Walking through the door, a woman told us we be better off at kikos. I wish we had listened to her. When we reached the counter, we asked for a booth away from the bar. The hostess looked for a spot and led us to a half table, half booth in front of the bar. Which was annoying. So we asked to sit further away at a regular table. From there, our waiter asked for our order, but as the menu was large, we asked for some more time. After deciding what we wanted, we waited and waited until the waiter came around. We had to stop him as he was trying to walk past us. We ordered our food. The food itself was bland with no flavor. The street corn was dissatisfing and left a bitter taste. The main course was also underwhelming. The food was out quick but tasted like it was made in a rush. Our waiter never returned to check on us. After deciding we were done eating, we had to wait to catch another server for the check. She then said she'd find our waiter. We waited about 10 minutes before he rounded the corner. As I tried to pay, he hinted to the tip screen. As you can imagine, I was already upset by the experience. I am not a dine and dasher so I paid my 52 dollar bill and left. All in all, a horrible experience that I doubt would be remedied with time. Don't waste your time or...
