Corpus Christi Nutrition — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I was super craving an açaí bowl, and maybe it’s bc I’m pregnant that I was just so dissatisfied and disappointed, but this just didn’t hit like I needed it to. I ordered an açaí bowl and I got a protein shake basically. It didn’t taste anything like açaí lol. It tasted like milk, protein powder, ice and açaí powder. So if that’s your thing then go for it.

We also ordered the waffle pizza. Okay I know I know, but come on, at a place that says nutrition in the actual store name I’m expecting more than ragù sauce and kraft cheese to be thrown on top of a sweet waffle. There is absolutely nothing nutritional about the dangerous chemical additives and preservatives in those products. I took a bite or two and then fed it to the birds outside, to be fair they loved it. I also took a peek at the ingredient label on the fat burner bar they had available to buy and it has glucose syrup and high fructose corn syrup plus harmful additives and preservatives in the ingredients as well.

Anyways total flop and waste of 47 dollars plus tip. The lady working was cool though not...

This place is super nice and a great find for anyone into health and fitness. My wife is really into staying healthy on the road, so finding this spot near Corpus Christi was a huge win.

The vibe is super trendy and inviting, making it a great place to grab something fresh and nutritious. The owner was incredibly nice and easy to talk to, which made the experience even better. You can tell they really care about what they do, and it shows in both the quality and atmosphere of the place.

Wow. That is a LOT of fake sugar. It was all I could smell and taste in their "acai" bowl. As soon as I opened the container, there was an overwhelming smell of diet pepsi. I don't think there was any acai in there either since it was pink, not purple. Lots of ice as well. Bad aftertaste. It won't go away. I got a green drink as well that initially tasted good, but the fake sugar became overwhelming. If you're accustomed to things sweetened with fruit, you won't like the stuff here. The person working there was very nice and the atmosphere was also. Maybe they could work on sweetening with dates/date sugar or something. Update After the store's backhanded apology and BS response, I'm downgrading the 2 star to a 1 star. What a...
