Moe’s - Texas Style BBQ — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

This place ranks as number two for BBQ places in CC, I loved the Sides charro beans out of bounds, not to spicy to eat flavor and doneness was spot on. Now the potato salad, that is the great debate, well I loved it here no over powering ingredients that can destroy the whole dish, not here. The bbq beans were top notch, loved them just enough sweetness to really enjoy them. The main thing was the rib special, ribs were smoky and very tender (pork). The specials are really nice to have choices and for cheap you get a meat two side and a drink. Prices are really nice for what you get. The sauces I do not like raw sauce, but the original and spicy were perfect with the meat, I found myself getting more sauce which is a rare move, but man the flavor was awesome, this is the only place to get spicy pickles, man they were good. If I lived in CC I would make it my weekly BBQ place, it was that good. Great pit master, really nice customer service (yes) we spoke to the owner Great guy, loves his dream of a great BBQ place, man he nailed it. Hats off, see...

Some good bbq. We had pork ribs, brisket, turkey and sausage. Also choro beans were awesome and the green beans were good too. Loved the complimentary banana pudding. I took off a star only for a couple things that aren’t a huge deal but just thought I would mention. My back likes padded seats and these weren’t and then I thought the potatoe salad was a little more bland than what I prefer. Wife wanted chicken but they said it was only certain days that they serve chicken so wish that was something we could get any day we go. Overall enjoyed and was plenty of good...

I got the Brisket lunch special with BBQ beans & potato casserole. The Brisket was very well seasoned and though a little dry, it was delicious, A-. The BBQ beans were everything I wanted them to be, A+. The potato casserole wasn't more than loaded mash potatoes, but it was simple, homemade, and left me pleased, A-.
