PokiYaki — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Being a Korean who moved to Corpus Christi 2 years ago, I was sad that there weren't any restaurants where I can have Korean Wings from. I'm glad to have found this place few months back after their opening! Their K-wings are super crispy on the outside but the meat is very juicy on the inside. They have 2 flavor options for avid spicy eaters and non-spicy. Poke bowls they have are limited in selection but that's what's good about it if you're tired of looking through 30 different options and combinations all the time! Just choose a bowl based on the protein selection (beef, chicken, salmon, tuna) and few other choices that comes with it and done. The amount is just right for me. Went for the first time on my lunch break with my coworker. We had questions about the menu and the lady in the front did not want to explain anything. Every question we asked just seemed like it was such an issue for her. When we got our food the rice to meat ratio was drastic. We literally got nothing. My coworker went back to the same lady to ask if she can PAY for more meat bc we were literally eating only rice. The lady said no and my co worker explained how it was our first time and how if we would have known if she would have explained this wouldnt have been an issue. My bf got the deal of the day which was the bento box and I got the meat bowll. We plan to return very soon so I can try the raw edition next time. We both loved our meals and have nothing bad to say about this establishment. I reccomend.
