I had extremely high hopes for this dinner. Its the first date night my boyfriend and I have had since our son. The food was okay, service was great for only one person working the front, and over all the look of the place isnt bad. Its very comfy and being 4 months post partum from a c-section, I LOVED the seats. Food: super over priced for what it was. I keep seeing a lot of owner feedback in other comments and nothing you can say will justify $28 for a plate of food. Sorry. Cannot remember what our appetizer was but the breading was sweet in comparison to the beef and it was soooo good. (8/10) With that being said, the lamb kawfta (10/10) was to die for. Super well seasoned and amazingly authentic Lebanese food. The lamb itself was great! My Philly cheesesteak (7/10) was meh, but thats what i get for ordering a Philly cheesesteak at an authentic Lebanese restraunt lol. Turkish coffee tasted rather burnt, even for turkish coffee... But im gonna give it a 6/10 The fries were something you'd get from a vendor stand. There was no salt or pepper at the table, which is unfortunate because thats maybe all my sandwhich needed. Price: I would pay at most, 27 dollars for this meal if priced myself and thats being generous. Im guessing based off of what google says as well that the prices are so high because of slow business. Which is crazy because if you had lower prices and advertised more, itd be popular. id even reccomend this place. Based off the price alone for what the food and portion sizing was- i will not be coming back unless my boyfriend just really really likes it. We spent around 98 dollars on 2 entrees, appetizers and 2 water bottles. and if we wouldve knew that, we would've gone somewhere nicer. Like the oyster bar. Service: amazing service!! She was so kind and soft. Her kids (im guessing) are adorable as well. (12/10) Restraunt itself: kind of hidden away in location compared to other places, location wise. It was beautiful on the inside. Very minimalistic and i loved it. Great calming music in the background.
Over all, the price really knocks my rating down because it wasnt worth it. If it was cheaper 6/10 but due to price for quality 3/10
Edit: food is not high quality, its mediocre. Definitely NOT worth 98 dollars. It wasnt poor quality, but it wasnt high either. Don't lead people on. My review is me being EXTREMELY understanding and generous strictly because youre a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this Lebanese gem in Corpus Christi, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. This restaurant, owned by a charming couple, is not just a place for couples but also offers a welcoming setting for any formal meal.
From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that patience would be rewarded. We waited approximately 30 minutes for our food, but every minute was worth it. Everything, and I mean everything, was cooked from scratch, using high-quality ingredients that translated into an explosion of flavors.
We opted for a combination of a vegetarian and a meats plates, and each dish was a culinary masterpiece. Even the dolmas tasted remarkably fresh, a testament to the dedication to quality. One highlight of the meal was the garlic mayo, a heavenly condiment that I highly recommend trying.
To top it all off, the baklava was made in-house and was the perfect sweet note to end the meal on. This Lebanese restaurant is not only a culinary delight but also a pretty, clean, and good-looking establishment. If you're in Corpus Christi and seeking a memorable dining experience, look no further. This Lebanese restaurant delivers a fantastic and mouthwatering journey into the world of...
Read moreKuzina had very delicious food. It seemed clean and the service was attentive. It turns out the owners, a husband and wife team, were the only staff they had. Fortunately it wasn’t too busy. I started with a sampler for appetizers which included dolmas, hummus, baba Ghanoush, and tabbouleh served with pita bread. They were all very tasty and my Partner and kids ate most of it. My son ordered a Gyro, and I had the mini plate which included gyro meat over a bed of Mediterranean style yellow rice and a salad. My daughter went for the kids menu cheeseburger, as she is less adventurous at this point in her young life. My Partner was fine with just enjoying appetizers. Everyone really enjoyed their food.
The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5-stars is the price/value isn’t consistent, but I still fully recommend going! My ticket was nearly 90 dollars, and then I added a 20+% tip on top. I fed three people, and an appetizer plate and drinks and it’s Mediterranean food, not exactly fine dining.
Pro tip: make reservations. The Owner appreciates reservations as they are currently short-staffed. We didn’t make reservations but we were still served, but the Owner definitely appreciates reservations so they can assure...
