Entered @ 1:30 on a sunday right after a late mass church. The parking lot is very spacious and no pot hole u need to worry about. Upon entering i immediatly disliked the table arriangments. The tables n booths were so close together it was like a cluster. Someones bound to bump into each other. I orderd a lemonide and got a choice between a regular on rocks type or slush like. I chose slush. It was refreshing. I recieved complimentary chips and slasa in a squeeze bottle. I suppose to prevent double dippers from dipping wrong. Lol. The chips were two types mixed fried flour chips and corn I ordered @ 2pm n my meal arrived @ 2.07 pm I ordered the #10 las milpas meal. Comes with carne quisada n 2 enchiladas. And all meals come with a choice of flour or corn tortillas. I chose flour. They brought one tortilla n it was very large n fluffy it was bigger than the tortilla dish it was brought in. The food was so much i couldnt even finish it. It was good. Definately the right meal to go with when u starve urself all day to get ready for church n its the only thing u think about after. I always hated the reciept check at mexican resturant. They dont tell how much it is until u get ringed up at the regester. So u have to do the calculations in ur head before u get to the register in case of mistakes. No one wants to be that person that questions it at the register holding up the line. I paid n eventualy got my reciept. A+ for the food. It was hot freshn delicious. A+for the speed. I got my meal pretty fast. N they had a few customers also. B-for the environment. The seating were so close the dine in was so small. So...
Read moreReally don't know what the hype was about.... probably over friendly customers that have no taste buds. I ordered a sausage, egg, cheese, an potato breakfast burrito/taco for 5 bucks.... whatever you call'em. It honestly looks great but taste like a cardboard box. An unseasoned one at that! Had to stop by HEB for some "Salsa" because what they gave me was like water and jalapeños. It's as if all the restaurants in Corpus gather together to make the exact same sauce! Trash is what I call it. Try something new! Tired of the constant let down with sauces and salsas. This place is dry and hot... like west Texas. Also hated the fact that when I took a bite of my food none of the engredients were evenly distributed. To better explain... all the sausage was in one spot and wasn't even enough. But they surely gave me enough potatoe and egg 😒 if your cheap just say that... felt like i bit into a plain baked potato. $5 out of out of our pocket every morning isn't cheap for most folks now. Bro I'm so diassapointed in this breakfast taco and I can't even take it back! I keep taking a bite in hopes to it being better and I just get more disappointed. I skipped breakfast and now I will be skipping this place all together. Not a good takeout experience. Guess I can expect the same with dine in. Just like mcdonald's, slapping things together to just to dissapoint the next...
Read moreWasted $25 and an hour of my time for some of the worst Mexican food I think I’ve ever ate. The flautas were extremely over cooked, this thing was almost similar to an over cooked taquito from 7/11, I’ve never had a piece of tortilla stab the top of my mouth like a knife before, not a great experience, there was supposed to be chicken inside the flauta but it all disintegrated due to being over cooked, there was absolutely no flavor, if I’d have had some sugar and salsa it probably could have made a better salsa chip than an actual main dish. The birria tacos had absolutely no flavor either, its honestly astonishing how their food can be so bland, how it took me an hour of waiting time for my food yet it still tastes old is very interesting to me. The only thing with eating is the beef fajita taco but even beef fajita was ruined, beef fajita was cooked so hard it coulda made a better dog kibble than human food. I’m extremely...
