Laredo Taco Company — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

10/03/23 Updated my review to 1 star. Against my better judgement, I stopped here at the same Laredo Taco Company for the 2nd day in a row. Sign still out and i saw the only lady working walk out the front door to throw trash when i walked in. I proceeded to the counter and saw at least 5 empty tins that were scraped through with no food left in them. There was a tin of refried beans and what looked like sausage and egg. I went and just purchased the fried burritos. Definitely will not return for strike 3..... 10/02/13 Ordered two bacon Q tacos. The lady took my order and told me to go pay. I came back and she proceeded to tell me, I can make you one with potato and egg and the other will have to be egg and bacon or egg and sausage. We were standing right beside the food when I placed my order to go pay. I should've been told before. The sign to order was out of order. It was very dark in the corner, so much I thought it was closed when I first walked up. Will not be back to this...

Laredo Taco Co. Is awesome. The food is made fresh everyday. So are the four tortillas. This particular location has the new tortilla press machine. I've seen the employees churn out round tortillas in no time. Like 3 every 30 seconds. All the Laredo Taco Co.s should have these tortilla press machines, instead of a rolling pin. Also the best meat dish is the carne guisada. As a plus the tacos are less expensive at this location versus other locations. For now on I'm eating here often. Great food. Great prices. Great people. Gas station tacos whhhhaaaattt? I'm telling you it's weird being from Idaho myself but the tacos made in a gas station is amazing. Always have a deal going like two tacos for five bucks or the meal deal two tacos and a drink for 6 bucks. So good and filling as well. I get breakfast tacos and they are big enough for one or the morning and one for lunch that's 2.50 a meal....
