Since the renovation this place has changed drastically in customer service and organization. This has been my go to location. However after renovation I will not be coming back. I’ve visited this location 3 times since the change and each time it’s been horrible. I was giving the benefit of the doubt due to the new changes. But today was the last straw. No one greets anyone anymore. It wasn’t even that busy. There were a few cars in the drive through and I was the only one in the lobby. I had mobile ordered 2 drinks well in advance. Came in, no one said anything. There was a lady warming up food by the front counter. I located 1 of my drinks. I waited a little thinking they were still working on my 2nd drink. Another lady walked in and grabbed hers and the lady warming up the food said have a good day. Looked at me and turned around. The young lady in drive through saw me standing there as well. I waited a little longer. They kept looking at me here and there until after 15 minutes I finally said is there anyone who can help me? The lady warming up the food said I’m sorry. I told her I didn’t get the 2nd drink. She went to get her manager. Manager asked what my name was and come to find out it was sitting in drive thru. 2 other times before on previous visits, someone took off with my drinks (not Starbucks fault) but that day there were so many people in the small lobby it was chaotic behind the scenes and I wasn’t the only one in there that had issues. The other time they didn’t even make my second drink. This change really went in the wrong direction and I’m not the only one that has noticed. I believe I’ll go to 7 Brew...

I’ve consistently had poor experiences at this Starbucks location, particularly with the morning and day shift staff. As a delivery driver, I rely on store employees to be prompt and communicative—especially during busy hours. Unfortunately, that has not been the case here.
The staff consistently lack urgency and often respond to basic questions—such as asking for a wait time—with eye rolls or dismissive attitudes, as if such inquiries are unreasonable or bothersome. On multiple occasions, I’ve felt intentionally ignored or delayed after asking for assistance. To make matters worse, there have been times when I’ve waited 15–20 minutes only to be told that the order was mistakenly marked as picked up and now needs to be remade—further delaying the process.
I’ve never encountered these kinds of issues at other Starbucks locations, which leads me to believe this is a staffing and attitude problem specific to this team. There is a noticeable lack of professionalism and accountability during the morning and afternoon shifts that needs to be addressed. This location does not reflect the level of service and efficiency typically associated with the Starbucks brand. I strongly urge management to take steps to improve staff training, professionalism, and customer interaction—especially for those working with delivery drivers and handling mobile...
Read moreTerrible experience. Left without my order that was made wildly incorrect twice in a row, no biggie, it happens... But when I spelled out what I wanted (which was my usual drink I've gotten at Starbucks for the last TWENTY YEARS) and was flat out told "No, this is a latte, we can't fill the cup with milk." by the manager...
Mildly frustrating, to say the least. "I don't give a s* what you charge me. This is the drink I want," came out of my mouth next. I wasn't mad. I just wanted my delicious drink at any cost! I'll pay!
That led to her not only not giving me my drink, but also not giving me a refund saying to call the 800 number if I want a refund AND getting the police called on me saying I threw my drink at her (my drink was in her possession the whole time. My lid, however, I dropped onto the outside counter of the drive thru from about 10" up. No throw).
I pulled into a spot in front to call the 800 number to get my refund. Corpus PD response time is surprisingly fast! Two minutes later I was surrounded by two units.
I blurted out a laugh when the cop told me she'd stated I threw my drink at her and nearly snotted. "Check the tape, bud," I told him. He had a chuckle too.
Best part? Wifey is in labor at the hospital currently and I was buying a drink for her nurse too.
I guess no more Starbucks for me going forward. Best to support local mom and pop...
