3 stars for the actual flavor of the food and the ambiance. First, the wait wasn’t too long for a Saturday night and the inside is cute. So, I ordered the choose two combo meal (crawfish and black mussels.) it comes with corn, potatoes, and sausage. I also added boiled egg and I chose the surfing special which is all flavors together. Looks can definitely be deceiving, my food looked and smelled so good BUT the mussels were so mushy! I’ve never had mussels like that before, and they looked odd as well. The sausage tasted like hot dogs and the potatoes literally tasted like dirt. Do they not wash them? As for the seasoning…it was great but, the garlic was raw and I’ve never had raw garlic in my boil, It was always cooked. The garlic was so potent that I tasted it all night until the next day smh. Anyway, I ate my crawfish and boiled eggs out of the whole boil. I didn’t even bother with the corn. The manager was nice enough to take my mussels off the bill. I would try them again because I believe they have potential. I just know what to not get.

It was my husband's birthday. He had a boil , he loved it. Our friend had fried shrimp and sweet potato fries ( which at end of meal , she was surprised to have been charged extra for , thought you got shrimp and 1 side) she did not like Tarter sauce, said it tasted like plain mayonnaise, no pickle , no seasoning. I had shrimp fried rice that the server said was very good ( I had also seen a high review for it) it was ok , I did have alot of shrimp in it , the egg was weird and I did not taste any onion. Would not get again. The server did bring him a slice of cheesecake , which was nice ( I did add in to tip) , but there was no singing or any kind of fan fare. He is a grown man, and they had just opened , but there were enough employee's standing around that it would have been nice , especially the prices they charge. So we might go back , but not for any special occasions.

Great experience, our first time here. Our server Madelyne was spot on with explaining the menu and checking on us. We were there from about 5:30 to 7pm; decent amount of people but no wait. We skipped an appetizer and both got a pound of crab legs each (2 clusters) with just corn cob and potatoes (you can get it with sausage but we had a late lunch and opted out). We liked how they were brought out in a steamer bag and paid $1 extra for the special house seasoning that came in a butter sauce cup...sooo good. We especially liked they included a crab picker, a bucket for shell discards, and wet naps for clean-up; these little touches made for easy fun crab eating. They have a decent beer and wine menu My husband liked that they had Karbach crawford bock. We got the raspberry cheesecake for dessert to-go 😋. Clean restrooms and they complied with virus guidelines.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Surfing Crab Monday February 10th at about 7:30 pm. After placing my order, I was shocked to find that the food was not only incorrect, but was also missing crawfish and surely did not receive 1lb of shrimp as it was clearly less than “about 22 pieces” When I brought this to the attention of the manager, MARIO, his response was nothing short of unprofessional and rude. Instead of addressing the mistake with any level of courtesy or apology, he was dismissive and seemed more concerned with making excuses than actually resolving the issue. His behavior was outright nasty, leaving me frustrated and upset. MARIO specifically stated to me that I am so “insecure” (not even used correctly, LOL) and we can count “shrimp for shrimp” (how unprofessional) after his staff totally forgot a 1/2lb of crawfish. He stated he could take my food back and have it corrected but after such nasty behavior I wouldn’t want to risk my food being spit on or worst. Yes, he was outright NASTY and I wouldn’t put it past somebody like him. I did receive the missing crawfish but was not compensated for the shrimp which positively was not 1lb. It's rare to encounter such poor customer service, especially from someone in a management position. I won't be returning to this location for as long as Mario remains manager and will not recommend this location to anyone. I have never been called “insecure” or treated so nasty by a so called manager. I have supported this establishment since they opened. How unfortunate. I contacted the owner, Minj Lin and...

I really enjoyed this restaurant I ended up getting the pick 3 for $20.99 I chose to double up on the Crawfish and get shrimp with it it came with corn potatoes and sausage I felt like it was a pretty good value for my money the environment was a clean and friendly environment. I have to say the server that I had was outstanding she was attentive to all of our needs and made sure that everything was taken care of and made it a fun visit giving us bibs taking a photo it was a pretty great experience. However being a cook I have to say the shrimp was way overdone that was the only reason I did not give it five stars. asking someone that worked there they're cooking method I found out that the seafood is boiled once and then reboiled a second time that works with some seafoods except shrimp because shrimp is way too easy to overcook. When I opened up the shrimp to peel them they just literally fell apart all soggy but I will say they're seasoning and flavors were outstanding probably some of the best I've had to be honest I'm trying to find a way to get a list of all their seasonings that they put in the mix. Overall I did give the restaurant a four-star rating which is pretty good in my opinion but not perfect they're not many restaurants that I give a...

If you want “CRAWFISH” this place should be the last place on earth to eat from. I purchased several pounds of “Frozen” crawfish and it was the worst I’ve ever seen and ate. No need to explain further in detail what I experienced, if you know you know. Anyway I called to complain and the manager “Julio” explained that they do get crawfish live and that he would remake it anytime i call back (of course I wouldn’t want it again unless it was live). So I called multiple times and nothing, no live. Told myself let me try one more time to ask what’s the update on acquiring live. Well come to find out they don’t carry live crawfish ever. And when I asked about my credit they said they throw the proof away 1-2 weeks after giving it to customers. Julio reassured me that I don’t need to worry about anything before hanging up after I questioned him how he would remember this promise and when I called back he told his hostess to relay to me unless I have proof nothing he can do. Some of the Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Don’t tell me your going to document my credit and not do so. I highly doubt anything at this place is fresh never frozen. Might be fooling these city folks who don’t know what the hell good seafood but not fooling me. This place is...
