As we stepped into this haven, a sense of awe washed over us, akin to entering a fine dining steakhouse where every detail is meticulously crafted. The atmosphere buzzed with a unique blend of anticipation and organization, a prelude to the magic that was about to unfold. Our initial trepidation about the wait time was swiftly quashed by the friendly staff, who promised a mere 15-minute wait. Yet, before we could even ponder the passage of time, a message heralded our table was ready—a feat so swift it could only be described as magical.
Seated promptly, we were engulfed in the essence of a well-oiled machine. Here, every staff member danced a ballet of efficiency and purpose, a symphony of service that was both heartwarming and impressive. Our thirst was quenched with beers that arrived as if summoned by mere thought, accompanied by the heavenly aroma of their famous bread and special butter—a prelude to the feast that awaited.
The appetizers, a tantalizing promise of the excellence to come, arrived steaming and succulent. Our journey through the menu was guided by our waiter, a sage of savings, who navigated us through the culinary landscape to ensure we received the utmost value. His foresight in upgrading our choices to combos was not just service; it was stewardship.
Our dining experience at Texas Roadhouse was not just a meal; it was a tale of wonder, of time suspended in the joy of the present, and of anticipatory nostalgia for the stories we would one day recount to our grandchildren. Read moreI am so not a fan of complaining at all, I’ve worked in restaurants and bars so I know the many stresses that come in the fast paced food service industry… I have had my fair share of “not so great” experiences when I’ve gone out to eat, it happens 🤷♀️ . However, this time I am still in complete disbelief of how awful my experience was when my hubby and I finally got to sneak out for a date night. We both ordered ribeyes, medium. Our plates were brought to us and simply placed in front of us and the server walked away. Weird, but no big deal to us at all, we were stoked to dig in finally! My husband cut into his and it was literally purple…. Mine was beautiful.. we both ordered medium remember.. still no biggie.. except our server kept walking by us never asking if it was okay which is odd.. so anywho, hubbys steak was cold and salty, he took two bites and couldn’t just eat it unfortunately. So he placed his plate at the edge of the table. Server passes by two more times. Meanwhile, I take a few bites of mine and pass it to my husband because mine was so salty I literally made the duck face with every bite ☹️… we didn’t want to be “that table” and complain, we just aren’t like that it’s so awkward. When our server finally stopped, my husband told him about his steak issue and he offered to have a new one made but we said no thank you ( we had already been there an hour and a half, it was nearing 11 & we needed to get home to the kids and relieve our sitter). We didn’t even bother to mention my salty mess. Our server then brought our ticket where he charged us in full for all the gross steak glory that we had been served. My husband said he didn’t feel it was fair to pay for a steak that was ordered medium and served almost raw and made of salt… the server said he would do half price then since half of it was eaten. Rude! And untrue, the bites taken of the steak were politely spit out on the plate right there with the salt meat. The manager came to our table and was as rude as can be. I couldn’t believe it. I swore we were on the show punked or something. She argued with my husband and made a scene embarrassing us completely. I had to walk out because of the embarrassment from her rude attitude. We ended up paying for a steak and a half, left completely baffled, then stopped at Taco Bell still hungry and still craving steak. We weren’t asking for any freebies or anything like that, just some common courtesy to the mistakes made on a busy night, and our only date...
Read moreNEVER IN MY LIFE have I heard where a restaurant does not have the capacity to seat a party of 9. If you have a party bigger than 8 ppl DO NOT come here if your expecting to be seated together, or at least next to each other.(8 adults 1 toddler to be exact) We decide to dine in since we had family in town. When we got there they Informed us the restaurant did not have tables where more than 8 ppl can be seated. The biggest table the restaurant has only fits 8 ppl. Then they told us either they can seat us in 2 tables or squeeze in 1 booth. When they went to sat us down the host was going to sit us in tables that were not even close to each other. So we decided to squeeze in into one booth since that’s the only other option they gave us. Also what’s the point going out with family that you haven’t seen if we are going to be separated. Never did they offer us if we were willing to wait until a section open that would accommodate our party. Meaning where they can put tables together (in the front to the right) since that’s how they done it in the past, or where there’s 2 tables across from each other. As soon as we notice the table right next to us open we asked our waiter if we could split our party, and seat there. Because one we were elbow to elbow, and the way our booster seat was it was literally in the way of the walk way to the restroom. Which was just an accident waiting to happen, and inconvenience for employees and customers that kept walking through there. He then came back and told us the manager ALEXIS told him no because there were ppl waiting to get seated. Great understandable! But then 5 mins pass, 10 mins pass, 15 mins since the table had been cleaned, but “there were ppl waiting”. If there were ppl waiting to get seated how was that table open for more than 15 mins. Not even that their were more tables open near by where they could accommodate other customers, and us as well. ALEIX one of the manager never once came to our table to at least apologize for the inconvenience she would literally go to tables next to ours but would pass us. Needless to say now we know not to come here if we want to sitting...
