I'm Sorry Corsicana but this is probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. To start with ..What they are serving as Mongolian beef IS NOT Mongolian Beef..Its some sort of yesterdays left over meat in a brown sauce. M. Beef is so simple to cook it only has 5 ingredients. The idea that a Chinese food restaurant cannot master this dish is telling. The Pork Lo Mein tasted like Dish water. Basic- Classic Lo Mein is cooked in a Wok under a hi heat which gives it a distinct smokey flavor and aroma....the flavor is called Wok Hei..which is cantonese for wok energy or wok breath. Don't believe me --google it. Once again a Chinese restaurant that cannot master this dish is ridiculous..Its a wok under high heat..No Wok..NO High heat..No Wok Hei. Sad from a place named Classic Wok The General Tso's Chicken was, unfortunately the biggest disappointment..I swear it came off a buffet line.. the idea that this dish was made when I ordered it is mind blowing.. 3 pieces of chicken as big as my thumb swimming in a sickly sweet sauce...the rest of the dish was dime sized chunks of chicken bits with breading all over them cooked till crunchy...YUCK.!! Even the touted fried rice was just rice with soy sauce in it... no carrot , no peas..no egg nothing but yesterdays rice mixed with soy sauce..probably never even saw a Wok in its life.. The public should demand more from its restaurants , this is terrible food and it stays that way as long as people throw around 3 and 4 star reviews like they are free. Wake up Corsicana..you deserve a lot...
Read moreWe have purchased often over the years, particularly at the time when Covid closed down many restaurants. The last time we ordered, she made a mistake, and instead of spicy shrimp and chicken Hunan, I got a bland lo mein. We ordered again today, and they did the same thing. Now, I admit that the spouse has a serious southern accent, but there is a big difference between lo mein and Hunan. They replaced the lo mein with the original order, and charged me for the extra amount that the Hunan is priced at. I did not realize how much I angered the cook, by asking for the Hunan... for when I got home and tried it, I found the spiciest food that I have ever eaten. I appreciate his disappointment in having to make good on his wife's bas hearing, but I should be punished for it. We won't be back ... and that really...
Read moreI'll start by saying that I ordered sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious. I felt the serving size was unreasonable. 11 pieces for $8-10. I ordered cream cheese wonton 6 for $6. Which was fair but they were dark brown color and tasted almost burnt. I called ahead because I was hoping to show up and grab my food and leave but the dining is closed(fair enough with Covid) but it took me 25 minutes to get through the line to get my food. There has to be a better way... its not bad food and I don't usually leave bad reviews so I will say this place can improve and ill probably get food elsewhere from now on, I may revisit in the future, maybe my experience...
