I go to Fuji sushi all the time. The last two times have been disappointing. I had to wait forever to use the bathroom, it was so long that the waitress banged on the door to get them out, just to find out it was one of the workers in there playing on their phone.. the next time I ordered to go. I got the Gulfport sushi roll, I took one bite and realized it was fishy. I’ve had their white fish before in an other roll called (out of control roll)which wasn’t fishy at all. I went back in to tell them that my roll was fishy and I would like to see if I could swap it for another roll that was the same price since I already paid $13.95 for the roll that was fishy. The guy insisted that his fish was “fresh” and wouldn’t do anything about it since I just didn’t like the roll, which wasn’t the case. If I’m a loyal customer that had the white fish in other rolls and enjoyed it, then why would I just “not like” this one roll. You can get the same quality sushi at H‑E‑B and that’s where I will be going...
Read moreFirst time trying Fuji, and I was not a big fan of it. The gyoza, miso soup, and California roll were decent. So we were pretty hopeful, but our entrees were not tasty at all. My husband ordered the Mixed (chicken/shrimp) noodles, and I ordered the spicy ramen. The portion sizes are huge, but the whole entree is mainly bland egg noodles. There’s hardly any protein. And the spicy ramen was very bland with no spice or flavor at all. The boiled egg in my spicy ramen was overcooked so it had that gray film on the yolk, which made the egg taste disappointing. The small amount of protein in our meals were, again, very bland. But unfortunately that’s all we ate from our entree to at least get our moneys worth because the 2 pounds of bland egg noodles were not even worth eating. We ended up leaving almost all of the noodles. We also were a bit uncomfortable hearing the chefs yelling back and fourth to other employees. I’m sure for a small town this restaurant is decent, but I would...
Read moreWe always enjoy this restaurant. The food is excellent and it’s impossible to have any better service. Last night we celebrated multiple things, one of which was the birthday memorial of a close friend who passed 5 years ago. His favorite drink was A&W root beer and he actually had an A&W tire cover on his jeep, t shirt, etc. We ordered our usual food but then my husband also ordered a root beer (unspecified brand). It took a little bit for the root beer to come but when it did it was in a cold 20 ounce bottle of A&W that I think someone went somewhere to get for us. They apologized saying they had ran out of root beer. Little did they know it was perfect. We drank to his honor, RIP my friend. And thank you for the greatest hometown...
