At one time, I would have this place at 5 stars. What changed? The way they handle customers now.
As of February 24, 2020, after 4pm, customers are forced to wait to be seated, given a menu, drink order is taken (but the options are not on the menu to see, so if you wanted one of those nifty bottled drinks up by the register, you either need to ask for the entire selection options from the waiter, or know it by heart yourself), and then wait. If you're new to the place, don't expect to be offered those options, because the wait staff wasn't trained to think about talking about the options and don't expect to even know what drink options are available due to it not being on the menu. Eventually, when drinks do come back, they'll ask if you're ready to order. You order, then wait some more. Food eventually comes out, and after you eat, you wait some more for someone to come by so you can ask for a check. Then you wait for that. When the check finally comes, you give them the payment, and then wait for the receipt.
For a place where one of the bigger attractions, for someone like me, was the fact that you could walk up, order, pay, and then wait for your food, eat and go; now it's 4 times more waiting and time spent sitting when you could have had a full belly and been out the door in less than half the time they put on you, now. I cannot even IMAGINE what a sports night is going to look like when they really get busy.
Oh, and the video game system that they had? Gone. Someone made a financial overhaul decision to remove that system and put in another set of tables and chairs, to get more butts in seats. As a side note, those bar stools are horrid. I feel like every time I try to sit in one, I am fighting gravity to not slide out of my seat and straight onto the floor. Those, truly, should have been taken into consideration when changes were made. The burgers remain tasty, but with the abrupt change to how a customer is handled when walking into the establishment? I'd say, just use the drive through. It's faster.
For my family and I, sadly, with this sort of change, we're just not finding it appealing to return our business anymore. If we wanted to wait for a burger, we'd just drive out of town to a bigger chain and sit forever, waiting at a Red Robins or something.
Oh, and the nifty rewards system where you enter your phone number and get a free burger after so many purchases? Yeah, well...no way to do that now unless you actually ask someone to do it for you, and while I had earned my free burger, it was never given to me due to this change. So, double boo...

I read some of the 1 star reviews and I just don't get it. My husband and I have been to this restaurant...at least a 100 times since we moved here...not even exaggerating. When we are in Corsicana, we never go anywhere else to eat. Why risk getting terrible food or bad service going anywhere else...which has happened! BottleCap has completely spoiled us for all other places! You would think with that many visits I would have at least one complaint...um...NOPE. Food is always fantastic, service is always top notch and they do a great job of keeping the place clean. Ok so I do have one complaint. I get my fantastic food and dive in....and juices are all over my hands and chin but I don't want to lick them like a barbarian. So I grab a napkin....which doesn't do crap! It's like 1 ply toilet paper! BottleCap...for the love of God can you please get better napkins!?? Otherwise I can not be held responsible for the scene I'll be making trying to clean my hands and face with those thin, tiny napkins we are forced to use! It took me years to even try this spot bc I thought it was just a burger joint and I don't do burgers but a friend of mine surprised me with dinner from there one night after work....he told me it was from here and every week like clockwork I have the same thing-Seafood Combo usually with jalapenos on the side, the beans are fire!! I think I'll treat myself TODAY but I digress.... If you know me then you know customer service is EVERYTHING and they have proven to me on several occasions that they are top tier!!!! On my last visit, they warmed my heart so much bc it was just a lousy day and their act of kindness resulted from a technical issue.. Now I won't say what it was bc things happen sometimes in business and that's not your business but they have a customer in me for the lifetime of the company. I may venture to other items on the menu bc it looks good when my family orders it but as of now I'm stuck on my usual. Thanks guys...
