Kito’s Taco Shop — Restaurant in Corte Madera

Consistently great quality and utterly delicious. I’m a local personal trainer and I’ve sent all of my clients here, as their approved cheat-meal (based on extensive research-by-sampling). All clients excitedly report back saying it’s one of their favorite Mexican lunch places in Marin.

I personally always go for the carne asada burrito. I’m a big dude with an annoyingly enormous appetite and this burrito is the only one I’ve found that fills me up without having to order two (which is usually the case). For normal people I recommend the amazing fish tacos.

Mexican food is my comfort food. And Kito’s is some of the most delicious Mexican food I’ve ever had. It’s amazing! A lot of care and attention goes into the food. It’s the little details, like the way the cheese is melted on the veggie tacos and not just an afterthought on top, the seasoned tortilla chips, or the grilled corn kernels, the flavorful salsas (no watery salsa here), and the finely shredded cabbage. Wow!!! You can tell they really take pride in the food they are putting out because it really shows. The little things make this place so amazing - the homemade salsas, the homemade tortilla chips with some unreal good spices, the meats are quality and are spiced to perfection, the burritos have that little on them grill that makes it taste that much better, even the rice in the burrito has amazing flavor.
