I recently had breakfast at this small-town spot, and overall, it was a solid experience. I ordered a meat lovers omelet with cheddar cheese and a side of bacon. The omelet was originally made with three eggs, but I added an extra egg for $2.95, making it a four-egg omelet. It was packed with filling, cooked well, and definitely a satisfying portion. The side of bacon was also cooked just right, and everything tasted fresh.

One thing I appreciate is how they price their menu. The omelet itself is around $10.45, and if you want hashbrowns, it’s an extra $1.20. I actually like that they separate the cost because I’m on a high-protein, low-carb diet, and I hate paying for hashbrowns that I won’t even eat. This setup works great for me.

Prices are decent but have gone up over the past year, which seems to be the trend everywhere. Also, if you pay with a credit card, there’s a 3.49% fee, so keep that in mind.

The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town breakfast spot—warm, welcoming, and friendly. The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, and that adds to the experience.

I went to Sam's with my very hungry and crying 2 year old twins, and the staff was really helpful and understanding. As we were putting them in the highchairs, I asked the waitress for some milk right away, and she delivered. Another waitress brought them crackers, which stopped the cranky. Once they were eating, my boys seemed to enjoy it and just sat there in awe of the restaurant. Going to Sam’s for this first time was an amazing experience! I’m a sucker for homestyle breakfast and when I heard that Sam’s had it, I had to try it! And try it I did, I fell in love!
