Cocca's Pizza — Restaurant in Cortland

We got Cocca's food at a track meet and I wanted more of their pepperoni roll, so I ordered one for the drive home! It's SO good. I don't even know what exactly makes it better than other places....maybe the dough? It's soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside with a butter garlic sauce brushed on it or something? I'm not sure. But my athletes, my family and I all really enjoyed the ones we got. I got a spinach one as well. It had it a LOT of spinach in it, so I was feeling like Popeye that night! We also got some of their jumbo wings and they were BIG and delicious!!! I wish we had gotten more!! The staff were friendly and the place looked clean and well kept! I would definitely stop in and try more of their menu if I'm in the area again. I did walk through the bar to get to the food counter and I'm glad my kids didn't go in with me because I wouldn't have wanted them to hear the conversation that was happening at the bar!!! Lol However, it's not the restaurants fault what the patrons are saying! And, I'm pretty sure there is a separate door that you can go in on the North side of the building that puts you right at the food counter and then you don't have to walk through the bar. I'm just not familiar with the area so I didn't know that was an option! But I would definitely recommend their food! Also...in case you didn't see....they have specials and the pepperoni rolls are under $6 on Thurs!!...

First impressions mean a lot. First of all, the parking lot is terrible. It has exposed slag all around from erosion and weather damage. There is no real handicap accessible sidewalk, only a $10.00 piece of particle board with tapered two-by-fours attached to it for wheelchairs to attempt a thrilling ride. There are weeds growing up through all the joints and cracks in the concrete and asphalt. The light fixture outside is almost completely sideways. So my daughter and I went inside against my better judgement. The inside wasn't as bad so we chose to sit down. I ordered a steak salad with no onions but it came with onions. So I politely took it to the counter to request another and before I say down at my table the server was bringing another one. The cook in the back picked MOST of the onions out in a hurry and sent the same salad back out but he/she missed a few so I sent it back and we left. I can handle mistakes but not insults. I don't recommend this place...

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food is good. But EVERYTIME I place an order they mess it up. I am not that person who writes reviews and complains. But tonight I hit my limit. They have turned me into a Karen! They messed up my order and had to redeliver 3 times. It boggles my mind how they screw up so much. I even told them on the phone to make sure the order was correct before delivering because they have gotten most of my past orders wrong. The manager tried to tell me it was because the new girl took the order. Well what about all the other times I placed an order? Were they all new? When you call they can't hear you because all the young kids that work there are goofing off and laughing and yelling. Its sad because they are the only pizza place that delivers to me and the food was so good. But at this point they have screwed up so many times I refuse to order from them again. It's a f'n nightmare. Save your time and sanity and go somewhere else. It's...
