Lion & Lamb Coffee is a Christian based coffee shop that I happen to stumble upon in Costa Mesa today. The fact that it is Christian based was an absolute plus esp since I'm Christian, I knew I had to support them. If you're not a Christian no worries at all, they don't press Christianity upon anyone so don't let that stop you from enjoying AMAZING coffee!!.
The vibes were chill and mellow, it is super spacious inside for studying alone or with a group or if you're looking to getaway and bask in a delicious cup of Joe. Their fall menu is in FULL effect and the options they have made it very hard to choose but I opted for the pumpkin spice latte and babe got the salted toffee latte.
They also have your classic options available as well if the fall menu isn't calling your name. The wait time wasn't long at all esp since it was a bit crowded, the line moved fast and customer service was friendly, genuine and very pleasant.
Now, my pumpkin spice latte. The pumpkin spice flavor was bold and sweet. I got the large size and it came with 4 espresso shots(HELLO!!) which I needed!!. Nothing says fall like a good ol pumpkin spice latte, the best I've had this season thus far.. a definite must try. The salted toffee latte( I tried too lol!!) Let me tell you guys!! It taste like a toffee candy bar!! It's sweet and the toffee is kickin!! Both of these drinks were amazing and you can't go wrong either way. You have to swing by Lion and Lamb if you're in the OC. Parking is very minimal and limited and the coffee shop is easy to pass so keep a look out. I'll be in Costa Mesa tomorrow too so you know,...

Lion and Lamb Coffee Roasters is a great, unpretentious coffee shop that delivers solid coffee; a good amount of room to work/chat/study in; and some good variations.
The actual coffee shop is on the side of a church. Just keep an eye out for Watermark Church. Parking-wise, there is usually plentiful street parking or some limited side parking (note the signage where the cafe parking ends and the office parking begins where you can't park).
Coming in, I've usually only had to wait at most like about 10 minutes when things were super busy, but the line is usually pretty quick. I really like all the little items that you could check out from merchandise to cold food items like yogurt to other drink options. Once you get to the front, don't forget to check out the handwritten specials to the right!
I usually grab a cold brew which I think is solid for about $5ish. And yep! They have different milk options available as well.
The main cafe area is chill with some desks / seating available (believe there are a few outlets available around). The WiFi as well is pretty reliable. If the main area is too busy, they have other adjacent areas also available to find seating.
The only thing I'd love to see more of in the future is some more food options! They have pastries and a lovely breakfast burrito with a nice hot sauce to go with it (not too much customization other than bacon or no bacon).
Would...
Read more5/24 update: 3 stars for the drinks. Foods must est same day or it goes bad.. So this is for the matcha latte that got me sick after taking few sips ounce.. maybe the person am whisked too much air also so I sipped air and burped like crazy. Also looked & tasted like subpar quality matcha. $7 Wasted trashed. Idk if it's because I got there 30 min before closing time so quality isn't the best (they close early, but still it's not a hard drink to make if you just add warm water and add) or it's just this drink.. I got London fog last time and it was ok.. nothing special to go out of way for but if in rhd area nice to check out.. nice staff, environment ok for some wifi. It's in a quiet corner in an industrial area so not the nicest looking place but inside had nice plants for sale and basic foods snacks.
Actually a gem find.. very quality foods, deserts, and drinks.. they listen to you - no sugar means no.. not like other cafes that leave a hint of sweetness. There's larger room to...
