This was a really nice pumpkin patch experience! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was great how few people there were! Everyone working there was friendly and helpful!
We went to the barnyard area first. There was no petting, but some goats in one enclosure and a cage with chickens. Then we saw the wagon pulling up for the wagon ride and so did that. It was a little expensive, at $6/person and no explanation or anything (just riding around looking at the fields) but we were the only group on the wagon and it was pretty. After that, we went to the arts and crafts area and my daughter chose to paint a pumpkin (that cost a $5 activity ticket). After that, my daughter ran around a little straw bale maze kind of thing. Then we went to the car to get a wagon and went to the pumpkin area to pick our pumpkins. Finally, we walked all the way to the edge to the hay bale hill thing (my daughter really enjoyed jumping on the bakes) and then finally checked out and left.
We were there a little over an hour and spent $21 on additional activities in the patch. My 7 year old and I both really enjoyed our time and I loved how it wasn't...
Read moreWe enjoyed our time at Hana Field by Tanaka Farms. Conveniently located for corn maze/pumpkin patch and it offers a lot of the attractions found at the big farms. We felt the price of admission was affordable for what was offered. Several different and fun activities for all ages provide for several hours of entertainment for the fall season. There are several covered benches where you can bring your own food and picnic during your visit. Several small food and drink options available. While we had fun during our visit, I have decided to give Hana Field 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt like several smaller things could have been better. The corn maze was very small, and it is understandable for the location, but it felt like with the amount of land available the maze could have been larger and better designed. We were also excited to fire the pumpkin cannon but by the time we had gotten around to getting in line for it, the pumpkin cannon was only working intermittently - we didn't get a chance to fire it. I would return back here and I would recommend it for one who isn't up for a longer drive to...
Read moreWe recently visited Hana Farm for flower picking and had a delightful experience! We harvested beautiful sunflowers and zinnias during their 2-for-1 special on the last day of the season. For just $15, we got to pick a generous amount of flowers, and admission was free that day, making it a fantastic deal.
The weather was extremely hot, but thankfully, the farm provided a canopy and tables where we could sit and cool off. There’s a wonderful children’s area filled with tiny tractors and toys, perfect for keeping the little ones entertained. The petting zoo with its adorable animals added a charming touch to the visit.
Hana Farm is also a fantastic spot for taking photos, with its picturesque scenery and vibrant blooms. Overall, it's a super nice place to spend a day outdoors, especially for families. We had a great time and look forward to returning...
