Beyond disappointing especially for a place that boasts they were voted #1 for pizza. They are trying to do gourmet pizza, sounds good & pictures well, but the taste is salt. Extremely salt ingredients that our tongues & lips burned from the salt. Pizza is not just the toppings, it's the crust & the crust is tasteless. You are looking for either beer/hops flavor or sourdough, the crust is bland. The biggest disappointment is the Ceasar salad. Making Caesar dressing is not difficult, the issue is that most either use too much garlic or too much parm. cheese. Their dressing is a mess, again too much salt, too much parm cheese & an off fish taste. It looked like fresh grated horseradish, never in my 40 years have ive seen dressing look like horseradish! I questioned freshness as the dressing was separated in the container which is not a good sign, even after shaking it has a chunky off putting color & consistency. A quick taste test for safety made me question it to the point that I opted to discard. I don't mind paying higher fees for good food, but there's nothing more irritating than paying fees for high dinning & getting inedible food. Beautiful interior, the guy making pizza was friendly but can't say the ladies were that friendly. However, looking good but serving customers wannabe gourment food doesn't go far especially in this economy. Don't recommend, in fact, skip & go to another joint like mombo's pizza where you will get edible food. * Gave to neighbor to enjoy & he could nt eat either, said he had to throw out. $120 worth of garbage food.....we are the most expensive cereal last night for dinner, thanks alot Acre Pizza!

It was our first time here, and we came as a group of four. The first thing we noticed almost immediately was how hot it was inside, despite there being three air conditioners in the room. None of them were on, even though it was 78 degrees outside. Weird… The pizza was mediocre at best. We ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza (pretty simple). Apparently, adding mushrooms cost an extra 3$. Our friends got the Detroit pepperoni pizza, which was also just ok. Both pizzas lacked flavor. I would say the prices don't match the quality. The service was ok, nothing outstanding. We could barely even notice any af the workers since they were quiet and not very friendly/talkative. The only good thing was the drink from Parliament Brewery. I don't think we will be back.

I have really enjoyed this place. Customer service is on point, vibe is there. All in all its a great spot. My one complaint is price…. I got a large, regular crust, cheese pizza add black olives. After a 20%tip. It came out to $30 and some change. What I ordered doesn’t come close to 30. I understand everyone’s gotta make money. However. It is not anything extra, to make it 30 bucks for a cheese pizza, add black olives. Special occasions and what not, totally valid. However this is not “affordable” eating for the family. I will go back. The slices for 10+bucks are great for lunch. The quality of food is really great. Do try it.

I rarely write reviews for restaurants; however, after certain events, I thought I had better write a review.

For the most part the pizza is good. There is a decent selection of beers on tap Having said that, the prices are steep.

The reason i mention the steep prices is because the manager at the Acre Pizza in Cotati is rude. AND we all believe that if we are paying those steep prices for the food and beverages THEN we should be treated with respect.

Every Thursday at 6:30, we play pub trivia. Acre Pizza HIRED North Bay Trivia to host the weekly event. Depending on the weather, we either play inside (yes, it gets loud) or outside when it is more pleasant...not downpouring. And the outdoor area has a mostly covered section with ample seating.

Last Thursday, February 29, the rain was back in full force. So, I went inside to get an indoor seat...only to be told that most of the indoor seating would be unavailable for the trivia patrons. (I should add that we spend ALOT of money when we are there. We do not simply show up, maybe have one drink, and that is it. A typical team might spend $150.) The manager started putting chairs on tables to deter anyone from having an indoor seat. Her solution was to allow us to sit at one of four tables grouped together. I should also add that we usually pack most of the restaurant. And because of the complaints "they have received", we would not be able to use the speaker to hear the host read the questions AND there would be no music round....since that is also "too loud".

Begrudgingly, I moved outside. However, half of the tables were not entirely under the covered section. Thus, those tables were getting rained on. I asked if they could move those tables and benches to be completely under the covered section AND to dry them off. The manager said that not only would they NOT move the tables. BUT they would only dry them off IF it stopped raining. I said that she really wasn't working with us...and she promptly interrupted me to justify her actions. Apparently, the owner of Acre Pizza authorized this course of action. Also, it gets too loud when held indoors so they cannot hear the phone ring or they cannot hear the person on the other end of the phone. When she was done talking, i tried to reason with her once again..at which point, she crossed her arms and put her back to me to basically tell me that she really doesn't care what i had to say.

i should add that a male employee actually came out afterwards to do what i had asked...he moved the tables and wiped all of the water off. So, not really sure what happened....or why I had to be insulted?

After speaking with other patrons, i have learned of other bad experiences with this "manager". She pours the wrong beer and will not acknowledge that she made a mistake (a PBR was given in lieu of the ordered IPA).

My hope in posting this message is that the owner of Acre Pizza reads this. There are many patrons who will not be attending the trivia tonight in a form of protest. I know that we give them a lot of business. We would like to continue playing there...but we honestly do not feel as if we are welcome. And if that is the case, we can gladly spend our...

Anyone who is Celiac beware. Management does not particularly care if you get sick or not, all surfaces are cross contaminated and the staff is not trained to be conscious of your ailment. They use the same cutlery for GF as they do for normal. In management's eyes they don't see this as a threat to their customers health or well being and luckily it was only a night of vomiting and not another hospital visit, but im tired of having to go to the E.R. because Gluten Free is "trending". Please make it VERY clear that there is a high risk for celiac people to eat here and consider the marketing of Gluten Free less as a trend and more as a serious health concern. The pizza is delicious the staff if friendly, the ambience is great and you should totally eat their pizza. Just be wary if...
