Small Vietnamese restaurant with great service and fresh food. We been coming here for the last 5 years at least once a month we have family dinners. My daughter loves S8 Bun Bo Hue sub with egg noodle pho it’s spicy and takes a while. However it’s worth the wait. while we usually order different items giving a chance to find our favorite it’s tough because everything is fresh and well prepared. My favorite appetizer would be the egg rolls, Vietnamese iced or hot coffee is one to try out as well.

The worst pho I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the broth didn’t taste anything like authentic pho—it was so poorly prepared that I honestly can’t understand how the chef felt comfortable serving it to customers. On a slightly better note, the spicy noodles were extremely spicy, but at least they stayed true to their flavor. Still, I cannot recommend a restaurant that struggles to get the basics of pho right. It was a disappointing experience overall.

We came here after a long drive from Mendocino. The environment is really cool. They displayed a lot of Asian instruments on the wall. The waitress is nice and friendly. The food came out fast we order Vietnamese fried crêpe, Thai tea and pho. All are delicious!!! I never try the crepe before and was surprised by how good it is :)!!!!! The pho is warming for a long drive! I am surprised that it’s not a 5/5 star place. definitely recommended.

If I could give zeros starts I absolutely would . I would first like to say I have had plenty of bad experiences in restaurants and never yelped but this is so bad I literally have to let you know where you plan on spending your money . First me and 3 friends walked in and the lady immediately gave me a dirty look and looked me up and down in the dirtiest way . We went on to order and I ordered a Thai iced tea she told me she’s not going to give me a straw and I asked why and she said they were banned . But what she didn’t tell me was what I already knew (they are banned unless requested). Anyways I told her it’s fine if I can’t have a straw and she snatched the menu and walked away. When she walked away I quietly asked if it was only me who thought she was rude . When she came back she began to be rude with us and say that if we don’t like her rules we can get out this is her restaurant she owns this place . She said if you come in my restaurant you don’t tell me what to do , I asked her how we told her what to do and she told me to get out . I told her I don’t understand why your acting like this and she said if I don’t like it leave I said she doesn’t have to give terrible customer service to us and she just went on to tell me to leave . I truly recommend never coming to this evil ass lady’s restaurant because you will be judged and looked down upon and...

Nice restaurant with a kind and attentive staff. Ordered the Round Steak Pho, which came with a large piece of raw meat. I think I may be a little inexperienced with Pho, and simply ordered the wrong thing. The piece of meat and other ingredients were was packaged separately from the broth itself, keeping anything from getting soggy before you were ready to eat it, and allowing you to create the soup exactly as you like it. Which I felt was a nice touch. Great flavor, too. I'll be coming back to try a different soup soon! 😁

One star off from perfect because I felt the menu could be a little bit more accessible to a laymen or American. For a person who doesn't know the culture and doesn't already know what these dishes are, picking something can be a bit intimidating and you could order something and end up being surprised, I refer back to the raw steak in the above-mentioned paragraph. LOL

Edit: The raw beef gets cooked in the hot broth as you add it to the soup. I said I was inexperienced when it comes...

Amazing pho tucked away in a vibey & warm corner. I’ve been to Vietnam and this restaurant always reminds me of morning pho in Saigon. The service is incredibly warm, kind, attentive, respectful, friendly, and generous.

I recommend S6 or any variation of their pho tai. The meat and limes are so juicy & good. Plus the rice noodles are cooked to perfection. The appetizers are fresh & crunchy. Can’t go wrong with their potstickers, spring rolls, or fried shrimp. Indoor & outdoor seating is a plus!

Wide variety of dairy free, gluten free, and even a couple of keto options if you ask for substitutions. The server is so accommodating, I feel like I can really relax and enjoy my meal. Some may say that the broth is off but I think that a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants sweeten their broth whereas Mai’s does not.

100/10, this a local staple & a secret spot I...
