I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. I entered the drive thru with 2 cars ahead of me. The employee taking orders immediately started making errors on my order by over charging. When I finally got to the 1st window 5 mins later, I thought she corrected it. As I started moving up I looked at my receipt to see she had lowered the price, but charged me for a wing & breast instead of 2 chicken strips(Over $10). When I finally got to the pickup window, ten minutes later, I told the person I wanted a refund because of the mistake and time it was taking. The car in front of me still didn't have their order. The manager finally came and asked what the problem was. I explained again and she reluctantly started doing my refund. At this point I had been sitting in the drive thru for nearly 25 mins. No one had gotten food. The manager blamed the slow internet for not being able to complete the refund. I got my card back and left. In 25 mins of sitting in line I was charged over $10 for 2 pieces of chicken I never got, an attitude from the manager, a wasted half an hour and a lot of aggravation. By the way, I called back later and talked to the assistant manager and was told I would need to drive 2 hours back to Cottage Grove if I wanted a refund. When I asked for the franchise owners name and contact information she gave me a non-working customer service number and when I asked again for the owners name, she hung up on me! WORST SERVICE EVER.

UPDATE: I drove the 2 1/2 hrs round trip back to Popeye's. I got an apology from the assistant manager and my $10 returned. Yes, it probably cost me more in gas, but it was the principle...

My husband and I were driving down south and we came across with this hidden gem in Cottage Grove so we decided to have some of my favorite meals which is Popeyes Chicken when we arrived the place was packed but I was observing that the employees were organized in a clean kitchen and also working so hard to have the meals ready for us and keeping a very nice attitude especially Trina. She was very pleasant, fast, multitasking and hands on with a very nice attitude toward us the clients. (I have a lot of customer service experience myself so I could tell she was happy to provide us a good experience). My husband and I ordered a meal with sides of coleslaw, mashed potatoes, gravy and a biscuit and also two extra pieces of chicken. I honestly didn’t have high expectations of the meal since the last one I had in another location was ok (I’m a connoisseur of good Popeyes chicken lol) but when I took the first bite I was just savoring every single bite of everything to the point my husband was laughing seeing my reaction! Everything was soooo delicious and fresh that even my husband commented that chicken he had was so good and fresh. We ordered the meal to go because we were traveling so we ate our meal in our car so I had to come back and ask Trina her name and said to her this was the best Popeyes Chicken that I ever had!!
