The Grove Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Cottage Grove

So usually I feel like its a 5 star place! I have always enjoyed it. However recently their newest bartender is not the greatest. A little slow. Which I understand, she's new, but very rude to my husband. Every time. We went there on Sunday for my birthday which was also free pool night. My husband lost his id there. We called to see if it was there a few days later and luckily it was. However when he went in to get it she quite rudely said he should pay for his pool next time. It was FREE POOL NIGHT! He dropped it out of his pocket when he pulled out his smokes. I don't think she should be there long if she's going to be...

This old bar in Cottage Grove has some really good burgers... maybe even the best in town. The menu is pretty basic, and pricing is very nice, but when Jaq or her son are cooking, the food is great!! They offer daily specials... I've only had the Tuesday taco special, which, although pretty basic, was quite good. I'll be back for more! The Applewood smoked bacon double cheeseburger is excellent, and with fries, you'll no doubt leave stuffed. You can eat in the bar or a front dining area. All in all, great prices, really friendly service...

One word: Wow! My wife and I had dinner here and it was phenomenal! She had the chef’s special of the night and I had a regular cheeseburger. Courtney was our cook and she made for great company during our visit. The food was expertly prepared and some of the best we have had in all of our travels throughout the West. There’s also a full bar behind the cafe with incredible staff and fun regular customers. All in all, this was a great dining experience and we recommend this place to anyone passing through...
