Please read previous review. Since then, however… it is now 2024, March…

Management has changed over and over. Inconsistent reliability of kitchen being open or closed. What coffee shop REFUSES to have white mocha and whipped cream?

This place’s potential was being lived, previously-as you can see from my previous review.

Now- it still has great seating for working, but the atmosphere is depressing and the beat thing up can order is hot tea.

Owners and management need to realize what they’ve done up this place… it’s sad- maybe let another coffee company come in and run things?

Previously- maybe 2022 time frame- GREAT place for internet for travelers!

GREAT coffee - and GREAT people! Manager is amazing, friendly, NEVER have a seen her without a smile on her face! She's always bustling around taking care of customers and the atmosphere!

Employees seem to enjoy working here as well - and that is what makes a GREAT cup of coffee! I HOPE the owners are paying these folks a LOOOT! They bust their tails!

I was WORRIED when we rolled into Cottonwood that we wouldn't find a GREAT place to work - I was wrong! Thank goodness for Firecreek! The atmosphere, ample seating, wonderful attitude of team supporting us customers...

ONE warning - the internet is not sufficient for modern remote video meetings. I held a few, but it was always choppy. Upgrade the wifi??

OH - COPELAND sandwich for the WIN! **consider customizing it 'over hard' instead of over easy to make it a bit less messy to eat. And - get the greens ON the sandwich! WONDERFUL lunch or...

I feel that 3 stars is being generous because they really seemed to be trying. I had 2 hot drinks and a muffin, the wait wasn't so bad as watching the complete disarray happening behind the counter. The woman in front of me ordered her drinks and asked if they could refill the water carafe at the self serve counter (remember that). I ordered my drinks and muffin. The gentleman initially had no change to give me for change from my $20, we worked it out by me giving him ones to give me a $5 in return, he never gave me my coin change. While I waited 13 minutes, a couple walked out after waiting for their drinks, never getting anything. I felt a general since of panic from all employees except the girl (tessa) who said today was her first day. The gentleman who took my order was wearing no socks, sweat pants with no underwear (sadly you could see this) which is definently a violation of BOH standards. Then, I noticed him washing pots from the espresso station in a hand sink another BOH violation. I've worked industry for decades and am very forgiving but when it comes to blatant BOH violations I have to draw the line. That's gross. Nobody wants to see the parts of his body that I saw today. All I can say is the cheery and kind demeanor of Tessa at least was a small saving grace. Finally, they never filed the water carafe, she stood there waiting for water with her food and coffee the...

I've been here a couple times now. I like the variety of lattes on the menu and that milk choice is included. Even though they look and sound sweet, the coffee always comes out bitter. I enjoyed mine better with coconut milk than with almond (watery) or regular milk (bitter/sour) but the milk choice always overpowers the drink.

It took the staff 25 minutes to get our food out as a party of 3 had ordered just before us. The sausage burrito was super simple, like presented on the menu. The avocado toast was a disappointment. I didn't have dinner and had already been up for hours thinking about breakfast. For someone so hungry, finally getting food should've been more of a relief. Imagine my surprise when I instead tasted a mouthful of soap. I have the cilantro gene and was not expecting the micro greens to be completely cilantro. I had to take them off, only to find that the rest was bland. It was missing the balsamic glaze drizzle that the menu listed. Much of the bread was dry and thickly spongy. Although it was pretty together, it didn't taste good.

This place is not for people with a sweet tooth or in a rush. If you have time to sit down, it's nice with lots of space, just be careful what you order. Also, mind that each main menu food item...

For some reason, the last couple times I tried to go here, my luck would have it that they were not open. It just looked really cool from the outside so I kept trying. This time I was very successful and headed here straight after church to see that they were open and I dragged my whole family inside and we were determined to order something! The place is beautiful inside with awesome artwork on the walls! Great outdoor seating, and the barista was very funny! He had a soccer sweater from his hometown Effingham, which I had to ask and if it was a real place. It is. 🤣😂 My kids loved the pumpkin cookie and the gluten-free muffin, a kid's steamed milk with a shot of vanilla, a couple of different chai lattes, and a peppermint mocha. Everything was good and nothing to complain about. Very high quality and yummy. The tables were comfortable to sit at indoors and the overall ambiance was very appealing. I'm glad I came here. I'll definitely be back. I'm only in town once in a while. 👊🤘 (FYI, from the outside looking in, it seems like they got amazing 2nd-story patio seating. It's NOT a part of the coffee shop. Those are private tenants that live upstairs.)
