I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Main Stage bar/restaurant. My daughter and I were excited to take advantage of their advertised happy hour specials, so we specifically asked the bartender if they honored happy hour. Despite receiving an affirmative response, we were shocked to find that the happy hour prices were double what was advertised.
Not only was this a blatant lie, but it felt like a complete scam. As a customer, I expect transparency and honesty from establishments, and this blatant disregard for truthfulness was completely unacceptable. The management needs to reevaluate their customer service and business practices before they lose the trust of more patrons.
I urge other potential customers to be cautious and scrutinize the prices carefully before placing orders, as the advertised specials may not be what they seem.
No happy hour on the food. We had cheese curds with a pesto dip. They were good.
Pretty sure this is against the law C. A person shall not misrepresent the price of any commodity or service sold or offered, exposed or advertised for sale by weight, measure or count or represent the price in any manner calculated or tending to mislead or in any way...
Read moreI first want to say, at one time this place served decent food. We have eaten here three times this year. My girlfriend lives here in Cottonwood and I live in Prescott so together we like to stick with something we feel is good. The food has changed here and not for the better. 1st.We ordered Chicken Nachos and added "roasted corn and green Chile as additional toppings, the plate and all ingredients were refrigerator cold including chicken and corn, green chili's, queso cheese, corn was from a can. 2nd We ordered 12 "Chicken wings", horrible, horrible, horrible. I called our bartender/foodserver over and commented on the Chicken and Nachos, he grabbed the plate of chicken wings and took them back to kitchen, they never offered to replace them with another option or take them off the bill. My complaint is not with the server, he said he tried but apparently failed to get them to credit or replace the food. Bad management. Will not be back. I paid the bill in full and left a 25% tip. Better places to eat in cottonwood for sure. 2.5 stars is generous. Today was the first time I felt scammed at a restaurant. Only thing I would recommend from here...
Read moreI got taken for a ride tonight. As it's National Day of the Chicken Wing, you have to go out and get an order, right? I stopped into what I thought was now called Sports Bar (plastered all over the side of the building) but is still the Main Stage, apparently under new management. I've had some good times here over the years, but never had the grub. So let's give it a shot...don't do it. In any other place I've been in memory an order of wings is 10 or 12 jumbos. I got 6 little wings. Although tasty, they were heavily coated with flour. OK, win some lose some...until you get the tab. They charge FIFTEEN BUCKS for six little wings. That's THIRTY DOLLARS PER DOZEN for little heavily coated wings. When I pointed this out to the bartender, he agreed and advised the pricing was based off a place in Sedona that the new management runs(?) Even Sedona is cheaper than this for crying out loud.
At least my one beer was only $3.50, so there's that. And the guy who wanted to round up a group to confront the cop in the parking lot was pretty humorous. (The cop had gotten a hot dog from the food truck and was munching on...
