Goldmine Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

I wish I could rate this establishment with no stars. I called this morning (8/3/21) to carry out breakfast for a co worker and myself. My co worker wasn’t keen on ordering from here because she didn’t receive good service in the past- but hey, why not give it another try. Trying to navigate the menu was difficult- when I came to a conclusion I gave the place a call. The women who answered the phone acted as if I was a complete inconvenience. I told her what I wanted and asked for a minor substitution and she made it seem like it was the end of the world. I brushed it off and continued- I was having trouble with the menu and the women responded “you need to hurry up- I have other customers” I replied “ma’am, I have never eaten here before I need you to be patient- I am a customer also” when concluding my order she didn’t tell me a time frame or a total and hung up abruptly. I then proceeded to call primos where I received excellent customer service. I am not impressed with The Gold Mine...

10/10 WORST experience of my life. My friend ordered a waffle and eggs over hard with hash browns, she asked 3 times for hot sauce and syrup. Never got them. I asked for a breakfast shot which our male server didn’t know how to make so I sat without water or anything to drink for 10+ minutes. I ordered a breakfast burrito with cheddar cheese instead of pepper jack, with no mushrooms onions or jalapeños. Finally the other bartender (short dark haired girl, best part of the experience) brought my my shot. I got my food, my eggs were cooked over easy, IN A BURRITO, and there was no cheese. I had to go to the bar to try to get my order fixed because the male server never came to check on us once. The polite dark haired girl was at the bar and I expressed all my previous issues including my friends. We still never got syrup or hot sauce, AND when my new burrito came out, it was wrong AGAIN. Will never go there again! Also, I only gave it one star because there was no option...

Ordered through grubhub "special instructions" pork tenderloin sandwich no veggies, handfull of veggies under fries and sandwich now have soggy fries and soggy bread, also ordered appetizers again "special instructions" xx ranch, got none. Called restaurant, was told would be fixed if i wanted to come to the restaurant, well if i could have dine that i wouldn't have went through grubhub!! I would have saved myself 2 dollars. It only takes a few seconds to read an order apparently these businesses that all want to cry hardship because of corona perhaps if they got orders correct theyd make more money because the only causes i can come up with is either they dont care or they cant read. Ordered wings, cheese sticks and breaded mushrooms for the appetizers, never got the wings nobody messaged or notified me in anyway received some breaded onions things that were nasty. Will never order from this...
