J & B's Lounge — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

Had a hard day, so I thought I'd stop in. I'd never been here before, but I know a couple of my coworkers are regulars, so I thought it might be nice to just visit for a minute. I haven't gone out since my ex-husband and I separated just over 2 years ago. So, I gathered all my change from my car...$1.50 in silver coins. Figured I get a glass of water and tip the bartender for their trouble. My coworkers were not there, but the crowd seemed nice, so I made my way the the small girl with long black hair behind the bar... who was too busy chatting to see me standing there waiting for her. BUT, she will not give me a glass of water, and says I have to buy something to be in there. I say ok, and leave my $1.50 for her anyway and leave. Yep, I will never come back again, and I will share what happened with my coworkers on Monday. That was a something special...

Bugs in the alcohol bottles and the bartender Brittney was extremely rude, not to mention she thinks it’s ok to over serve people which is a huge liability for the owner. I literally watched a guy walk to his car stumbling, fall over, and crawl into his car because she served him so much alcohol. Very poor service I would not recommend this...

Best place in CB to play darts and grab some fried foods! Literally the best fried bar food in town. Always clean and cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
